In shadows deep, my heart doth dwell,
A silent tale it longs to tell.
Of love unbound, yet unreturned,
In yearning flames, my soul is burned.

A love so pure, but unreciprocated,
In fathomless depths, my feelings awaited.
I offer my heart on a silver platter,
Yet yours remains cold, an icy matter.

I pine for you in silent night,
Aching for a love that's out of sight.
A gentle touch, a whispered sigh,
But in your gaze, no love to spy.

And so I'll love you from afar,
A distant star, my guiding star.
Though unrequited, my love runs deep,
In dreams and verses, my heart will weep.

For loving you in such a way,
Is both a curse and a ballet.
My soul will dance in bittersweet,
A love unclaimed, yet so complete.

So let my words be my solace,
In unreturned love's grim palace.
For in the depths of unrequited love,
Resides a beauty, like stars above.
