In the realm of beauty's deceptive guise,
The word "pretty" weaves a web of lies,
For beauty runs far deeper than the eye can see,
Beyond the surface, where true essence lies free.A mask of perfection, a facade so sweet,
Concealing imperfections beneath its deceit,
Pretty is a fragile, fleeting charm,
A shallow reflection that can cause harm. But true beauty, oh how it does transcend,
Beyond the confines of what we comprehend,
In hearts that shine with kindness and grace,
In souls that hold wisdom and embrace. So let us not be swayed by pretty's guise,
Look past the surface and realize,
That beauty lies in the depths of truth,
In the poetry of living, in the essence of youth.-Reesewritesx
