So, out of every anime or tv show to be sent too, this one was the safest bet. (Y/n) thought to themselves as two people, well Cappies as they were called, looked down at them in worry. At least (Y/n) thinks the couple were Cappies as the last time they watched Kirby, Right Back at Ya, they had referred to themselves as Cappies despite looking very different from the townsfolk.

Not that it matters right now, (Y/n) shook their head, grinning up at Sir Ebrum and Lady Like. They gripped the mug in their hands a little tighter when they spotted the couple's children, or the main protagonists besides Kirby himself, Tiff and Tuff. The pair were hiding behind a pillar, probably ordered by their parents to stay away from the stranger. Though Tiff looked ready to fight if the clenched fists and fire in her eyes spoke any volume.

"I'm sorry, could you repeat that again?" (Y/n) laughed.

"Er, right...." Sir Ebrum went to say, only to be cut off by his wife. "Are you here to harm the people of Cappy Town you alien? Did King Dedede set you up to this?"

Oh yeah, that reminded (Y/n) that the only other human in the show was from the bad guys side. So, to these people of Dreamland, they would think (Y/n) was a strange creature or alien. Man, maybe this wasn't the best choice. But at least it isn't Attack on Titan.

(Y/n) took a sip of, well, whatever was in the cup. It tasted like water infused with lemons. Setting it down, they spoke up in their defense, "Uh, no. I don't even know where I am Miss. Who's King Dedede?" That should be enough to win them over.

A heated glare from a certain pillar made (Y/n) begin to sweat.

At least for some characters.

The guarded expression of the wife fell at (Y/n)'s little white lies. She opened up her fan, hiding her red face as she apologized. "Oh dear, so sorry I just know how that king-"

Sir Ebrum interrupted his wife before she could finish that sentence. Just like in the show, which of course they were standing right in front of (Y/n), to save his own hide. "What my wife means is that we're glad you're alright. When the villagers brought you in with such panic, well...." He trailed off.

(Y/n) got the gist of their arrival. Probably died, by a truck most likely, and got transported here. The issue was that they had to start over, and now worry about house destroying monsters. But if Kirby was already here then there was nothing to worry about.

As if the universe wanted to prove them wrong, the doors leading to the aristocrats' room burst open. Everyone whirled around to stare at the new arrivals.

"I'm here to see the human who I so bravely allowed into my humble home!" Exclaimed a loud voice, belonging to the one and only King Dedede

In the lead, of course, was King Dedede, a penguin that towered over the room and he looked well put together too with feathers slicked back and shining, and his loyal companion Escargoon. A funny pun on the name Escargot while the man himself, or should (Y/n) say Snailself, shuffled in wearing a scowl. Then trailing behind him, in the shadows was three knights, and one was very familiar.

Meta Knight drifted into the room after the king, his cloak making sure to hide his moments from sight, which meant if he was prepared to attack, (Y/n) wouldn't know until it was too late. His eyes cut across the room to obverse (Y/n), eyes a bright yellow that reminded them of a hawk. The metal helmet he always donned gleamed in the fading light of the room, small chips the only reveal of how skilled he actually was. Actually, all his armor gleamed, showing the care he put into it. And, as he got closer to the couch, (Y/n) noticed....

How incredibly short the master swordsman was.

Huh, surprised yet not surprised.

And, standing proudly behind him were his two loyal companions, Sword, and Blade. They looked the same, more or less, only more real like the other characters with their shining armor and empty eye sockets where there should have been eyes.
