The night was serene, bathed in a soft, silvery glow cast by the full moon hanging high above. It was very calm and quiet except for an occasional distant hum of passing vehicles and the barking of lonely dogs in the distance.
In a tall apartment building nestled in the heart of the city, all the flats lights were off, the occupants living inside deep in their slumber- except for the fifth floor of the building.
"Ahh...get a side...no...you are cheating..." A girl's voice can be heard as she attempted to nudge a boy sitting besides her with her shoulder, her eyes fixed on the game in front of them. The boy, his gaze unwavering from the TV screen, just smirked in response.
"What's cheating in it? If you are lacking behind, then you call it as cheating," He replied, his fingers working like a professional on the controller as he sped up his car in the virtual game. The girl's frustration grew more as she watched her own car falling far behind his.
As her virtual car took an unfortunate turn, the girl's patience wore thin, and in a fit of anger, she threw the remote controller to the floor, the clatter echoing in the room.
"Play yourself then," she huffed, climbing on the bed and covering herself with a blanket kept on a side.
The boy, unaffected by her outburst, continued playing, his car swiftly approaching the finish line. With a triumphant shout, he jumped on his place as he declared.
"Yeah...I won again," sending a smug grin in the girl's direction who has her arms crossed infront. Her lips pursed in irritation, she averted her gaze, refusing to acknowledge his victory.
Chuckling to himself, the boy picked up the fallen remote controller, inspecting it for any damage.
"You always do this when you lose," he remarked, settling back on the bed beside his sulking girlfriend.
"So... can't you let me win for even once?" The girl's voice held a hint of defeat as she spoke.
The boy let out a small sigh, holding her hand.
"Tae, you know...I don't like losing any game," he explained.
However, Taehyung's irritation reached its peak as she abruptly kicked her boyfriend off the bed, causing him to land on the floor with a thud. Wincing in pain, the boy shot her a wide-eyed look, caressing his back where he had landed.
"Don't even try to come to me again then...goodnight, JuNgKook," Taehyung's voice held a mix of annoyance and finality as she switched off the light on her side of the bed, laying down on the bed, under the covers.
Jungkook pouted as he climbed back onto the bed, wrapping himself in the same blanket as Taehyung. Ignoring her protests, he pulled her close, his arms encircling her in a warm embrace.
"No...leave me now...go away," Tae retorted as she tried to push him away from herself. But a small smile can be visible on her face which jk didn't notice.
Jungkook chuckled softly, pressing a gentle kiss to her cheek.
"How can I leave my favorite sore loser," he whispered playfully, causing tae to snap open her eyes, she fumed in anger as she immediately sat up and playfully tried to choke jungkook with a pillow.
