"Oh! I thought you looked familiar! I used to love watching that show!" Liam replies.
"Thanks!" I say.
Then, I notice someone in the corner of my eye. I look over and see Alejandro outside his house on the phone. Shit!
"Who's that?" Liam asks as he notices me watching Alejandro.
"Oh uhm.." I reply hesitantly.
"Is that...Alejandro?" He asks while squinting to get a clearer view.
"Yep.." I say quietly.
"So, he's the one that played you?" Liam asks.
"Yep." I repeat, watching Alejandro.
"Well anyways, forget about him, you have me now." Liam says, holding my hands.
"Thanks." I say, smiling.
"Let's go back and order some food." Liam suggests.
"Yeah, let's go." I say as we get up and begin walking home.
Alejandro's pov:
I was outside on the phone when I spotted someone familiar sat on a bench...Heather? Who was she with? A guy? Hm..am I jealous? No, I can't be..right?
Heathers pov:
After a short but swift walk back to the house, we arrive and go inside.
"What do you want to eat? I'll pay." Liam says.
"Are you sure?" I ask.
"Yeah!" He replies.
"Hmm...sushi." I say without even having to think for a minute.
"Alright, i'll order it now!" Liam says, going into the kitchen to order.
I turn on the TV and find something to watch. I just put on a random film and sit down. After a few minutes, Liam comes back into the room and sits down next to me. He puts his arm around me and I feel my face go warm.
"Blushing I see?" He says, smirking at me.
"What? Uh..No!" I say, getting flustered.
"I see." He says smirking again.
I hide my head in my hands and then I feel Liam lift my head up to face his. He leans down and kisses me and I kiss him back but it didn't feel right, it felt wrong. And I had no idea why.
"I'm sorry, I can't do this." I say getting up and going into the bathroom.
I walk into the bathroom and lock the door. I get my phone out to text Courtney.
Texts between Heather and Courtney:
H: court pls help
C: Why? What's up?
H: so i invited Liam over for dinner and he kissed me but it didn't feel right i felt guilty and idk why
C: haha! I know why!
H: why?
C: deep down you still like Alejandro and while you don't want to admit it, you do deep down somewhere
H: NO I DONT?
C: get rid of liam he's a waste of your time
H: i'm gonna
C: good
I put my phone back in my pocket and go back to see Liam.
"Are you alright?" Liam asks, a worried expression on his face.
"Can you go please." I say.
"We haven't eaten yet?" He replies confused.
"JUST- just go, please." I say.
"Okay then." He says as he gets up and leaves.
I sit down and cancel the food order. I replay in my mind what just happened and found tears forming in my eyes. I couldn't deal with this. I needed fresh air. I go down to the bench and take a seat.
"What am I doing." I say quietly as I bury my head into my hands.
Then, I feel a presence next to me.
"Heather..? Are you okay..?" A familiar voice asks.
I look up to see Alejandro, stood next to the bench, watching me.
"Oh, i'm fine." I say, wiping my tears and forcing a smile.
"No you're not." He says, sitting down next to me.
"Fine i'm not! I met this guy called Liam at the gym. He was sweet until he randomly kissed me and it made me uncomfortable and I feel like I always mess things up!" I say while crying.
"Oh, Heather." Alejandro says as he pulled me into a hug.
