Chapter 12

The next morning:

Heathers pov:

I woke up in my bed. I guess Alejandro brought me upstairs. I rolled over and saw he was still asleep. I grabbed my phone and texted Courtney.

Texts between Heather and Courtney:

C: Come to mine later for a big sleepover! Bring Alejandro!

I laughed, then replied with "Okayyy" before getting up and going to shower. Once I was ready, I came out of the bathroom to see Alejandro awake.

"Ah, there you are! Morning, mi amor." Alejandro said, smiling at me.

"Good morning!" I said as I walked over to my vanity to brush my hair.

"Any plans for today?" He asks.

"Oh, yeah! Courtney asked us to go to hers for a big group sleepover tonight!" I say, walking over to my bed.

"Oh, nice! I'll get ready then!" He says, getting out of bed and going into the bathroom to shower.

4:36pm at Courtney's:

Me and Alejandro arrived and went inside. Eventually, everyone arrived. I looked over and spotted someone. James. He was talking to Bridgette and Geoff. Now that I think about it, that day when I woke up in bed with James, Bridgette stopped me from attacking him, which she usually wouldn't do. I shook it off and carried on speaking to Courtney and Gwen. Then, an idea popped into my head.

"Oh my gosh you guys! Yesterday I made up with Lindsay and Beth!" I say smiling.

"That's good!" Courtney says.

"Can I invite them? I'll get Lindsay to bring Tyler." I say excitedly.

"Sure!" Courtney says as I get up to text them.

Once i've texted them, I wait by the door. After a few minutes, a knock is heard.

"Hey guys!" I say, opening the door.

"Thanks for inviting us!" Beth says.

"It's fine! Come in!" I say, stepping to the side to let them in.

A few hours later:

Everyone's been having fun for a few hours then we all settle down and watch a film. I had been trying to ignore James but I was confused as to why he was even here. I texted Bridgette, asking her to talk.

Texts between Heather and Bridgette:

H: Upstairs now.

B: Why what's wrong? Have I done something?

H: No not you, but upstairs now I need to speak to you.

B: But i'm comfortable here!

H: So am I. But somethings on my mind and I need to speak to you.

B: Fine!

I look over and see Bridgette telling Geoff that she's just going to the bathroom. I wait a minute then follow her up.

"Okay so what's wrong? And it better be important, I was comfy there!" Bridgette says.

"Okay, so I just wanted to know why the fuck James is here?!" I say, raising my voice a bit.

"Oh! I forgot to tell you, didn't I?" Bridgette starts.

"Tell me what?" I ask confused.

"He's kinda my cousin.." Bridgette replies.

"Oh, well that explains why you didn't want me to fight him." I say.

"Mhm." She says, looking down at her feet.

"He's a prick." I say, rolling my eyes.

"I know. But he has to stay with me while he's in town. It's my parent's orders." She says shrugging.

"Okay then, i'll just ignore him." I say.

"Good. Now, can I go back downstairs?" She asks.

"Yes, sorry." I say as we go downstairs.

I walk over and cuddle back up to Alejandro.

"What was that about?" He whispered.

"Nothing just needed to speak to her." I say.

"Alright, mi amor." He says, putting his arm around me.

Once the film is done, everyone goes back to chatting for a bit, but I just sit on my phone. Then, someone approaches me.

"Hey uhm..." They say as I look up to see James.

"Ew what do you want?" I say, rolling my eyes.

"I just wanted to say sorry. For everything. And i'm sorry on Liams behalf too. He shouldn't have acted like that over a breakup." James says, sitting next to me.

"Whatever. I guess i'll forgive you." I say.

"So, friends?" He asks.

"Sure, whatever. Only for Bridgette." I reply.

I then get up and go into the kitchen where everyone else was. They were playing games so I joined in.

11:19pm:

Everyone had decided to go to bed so me and Alejandro headed up. We climbed into bed and I cuddled up to him.

"Did you talk things over with James?" He asked.

"Mhm it's all sorted now." I say smiling.

"That's good. Goodnight, mi amor." Alejandro said.

"Goodnight, love." I say, snuggling up.

So, you may be wondering, is this where it ends? Well, for you reading this, yes. But, not for me. I'm just glad that I made up with James and everything's fixed now. I hope Liam is getting the karma he deserves. Anyways, I hope you enjoyed my story!
