(Alec's P.O.V)
Everyone was having a good time. It was New Years and My parents had decided to throw a party. My eyes skimmed the crowd for Magnus, but I just couldn't find him.
"Looking for me?" I nearly jump to the ceiling, but I spin around to see Magnus grinning like a mad man. "Magnus! You scared me!" He just laughs, I notice he didn't have a shirt on, but instead a sash that read: 'Happy New Year' I couldn't stop laughing.
"Where in the world did you get that Mags?" I say, getting the last few giggles out. "You mean this?" He says pointing to a sparkly blue top hat that I had gotten him last year as a birthday present.
I just simply shook my head and laughed, I picked up a wine glass from a passing waiter and drank all of it in one gulp. I was definitely gonna get drunk by the end of this party.
(Magnus's P.O.V)
I watch as Alec throws his head back and downs the wine he had grabbed, he grabbed many more and finally just took the bottle from the waiters. I laughed, "Can't wait to get drunk huh?" He nods with wide eyes. taking a sip from the bottle.
"I don't want to be sober when Izzy brings out the cake she made." He says, giggling. Yep, he's drunk. I pull him up, set the bottle of wine down and carry him bridal style up the stairs to his room. He keeps giggling and I don't know how to make him shut up.
"Alec! be quiet!" He quiets down to softer laughs, but I can still hear him perfectly fine. "Thank you" I say laughing and sitting in the armchair next to his bed. "Yooouuurr Wellllcomeeee" He slurs, laughing some more.
I shake my head at him, "You really are something" I say quietly, staring into space. Only did I realize that he was at the door rushing into the hall. "Alec no!" I yelled chasing after him.
We ran down corridors and past waiters that were bringing more treats to the party downstairs. He kept running, laughing the whole way, I had never seen him laugh this much.
I see him make a beeline for the stairs and slides down the banister. He runs around the ballroom, bumping into people dancing with their friends.
"HEY EVERYBODY I LOVE MAGNUS BANE!" He yells, spinning in the middle of the crowd. I blush madly and grab his arm pulling him back towards his room.
This was going to be a long night...
