The bells ring in Teleorman, the capital of Zimnicea. Two princesses were born in the Rotaru royal family of Zimnicea, daughters of the great King Ionel Rotaru. The little princesses are named Antonela and Roxana. Everyone rejoys and comes to the newborn royals with gifts, such as gold, flowers and scented candles.
A mysterious old woman arrives at the palace. She steps in the room of the princesses and bows. "Your Highness, my heartfelt congratulations for your beautiful small bundles of joy. I grant my blessing that your little princesses will grow to be graceful and beautiful women with strenght and wisdom. I have brought a gift for you." The woman takes an incredibly beautiful cloak broaded with red diamonds and additional black gloves and white mask. It is the most beautiful thing the king has ever seen in his life. To not be ruined, the king asks for the servants to put it in a golden glass container in the basement, so he can stare at it for days. "I am thankful for this beautiful cloak, old lady." The king says. With subtile evilness, the old lady smiles. "May your princesses be blessed, and let the eldest wear the cloak on the day of her coronation." She says. The king thanks her and looks at the large double doors to greet another person who came to see the princesses, but when he looks back, the old lady is nowhere to be seen.
On the other side of the ocean, across the port country of Summer Hold, in the lavish and wealthy kingdom of Nuria Primas, princess Isabella Nura is born in the Nura royal family, everyone rejoicing and smiling.
Back in Zimnicea, in the commonfolk town of Nasturelu, two children are born to a homeless poor woman. They are named Kyle Anghel and James Anghel. The woman, having nothing to feed her children with, swiftly takes the in the forest. Walking trough the forest, she reaches a small clearing with roses and flowers. She leaves her children there, and runs away.

Kyle and James Anghel, left in the clearing, feeding on the breastmilk of female dogs, are found by a group of men. The men take them in, bringing them outside of the forest. They bring the children to an old, abandoned building and take care of them.

Kyle, James, Isabella and the Rotaru sisters have turned 8. While Isabella is leaving a happy life, Antonela and Roxana are both abused by their father, being beatten endlessly with an iron rod and whip. King Ionel forced the poor children to mop around in his room.
Mopping without experience, Antonela trips over the bucket of water and wets one of the many carpets in the king's room. Ionel, hearing the noise, swiftly rushed in the room and sees what has happened. "I-I am so sorry, father..." Antonela manages to mutter, but Ionel angrily takes the mop from her and begins hitting her with it. He hits and hits, the young girl screaming and crying and begging him to stop. After a series of harder hits, the mop turns bloody.
Still angry, the king forcefully grabs Antonela and throw her down the stairs of the basement, making her hit her head on the corner of a wine rack thus passing out. He carries her to a sucludded room in the basement which he locks.
~6th of May, Year 276 ACK~
Disoriented and in pain, Antonela wakes up in the basement and bangs on the cold metal door to try to free herself. The door doesn't budge. The poor child starts crying, and looks away from the door, where, to her shock and horror, sees her father with an iron rod.
The old man smiles with evilness and jumps on the poor girl and starts beating her up. "This is what you get from getting blood on my clothes, Antonela. Do not think I will forgive you." He says, and continues to beat her up. The child cannot do anything but cry and scream for help, but it doesn't come. When she starts bleeding again, the king throws some medicine at her, her wounds enclosing but she still feels the pain.
"You pathetic child! Stop crying or you will not be fed tonight!" The king yells. The traumatized princess instantly stops crying. The king throws a plate of old salty porridge at her. The child is disgusted by the sight of this, but, having eatten so low in the past few days, devours everything within minutes, then goes to sleep.
~3rd of June, Year 283 ACK~
Antonela continues to be abused by her father. The abuses are horrible, being beatten with iron rods and pikes, being whipped with an whip, being forced to stand above burning fire tied up to stakes, the flames rising enough to cause her sheer fear but not enough to kill her. Still being forced to work for the king and pretend she is living a normal, perfect life within the royal family, Antonela is depressed and thinks about killing herself. One day, the king leaves her blinded in one eye, and blames it on Antonela's dog, the only pet that ever made her happy and have a reason to stay alive. The king kills her dog.
Both being 15, Kyle and James Anghel learn that the place they were rised in and forced to do hard works like mining and farming is actually an illegal human trade selling humans for the highest prices, and that they are both sold to a man named Gabriel Bleej.
The children are brought into a cart by force, and transported on the plains of Zimnicele, where Gabriel is waiting with an evil and lustful smirk on his face. "Ohoho. I see you have brought to me some pretty little boys, Takademo." Gabriel says. The man carrying the children nods. "Yea. Found them in a forest close to our base. They are still young and virgins. They each host half a million silver coins." The man says. Gabriel smiles and nods, leaving and coming back shortly after with two crates each with half a million silver coins. "Both, please." He says.
The twins stare in horror as the man quickly takes the crates into the cart and pushes them into Gabriel. Their new owner grabs their leashes, says goodbye to Takademo and leaves, taking the children to where they will stay next.
He takes the children to a mannor, where he locks them in a basement with four rooms: A bedroom, a kitchen, a bathroom and a treasury.
