You: "Maybe you want to talk about it? You know day drinkers among each other. It created a bond."
Jimin: "If you tell me your problem, I'll tell you mine."
You: "Nice try, but I'd rather keep it to myself."
Jimin: "I get it. It doesn't matter. So what are you going to do in your free days, besides dealing with your problems?"
You: "Enjoying myself, doing some thing I normally can't do with my job."
Jimin: "Sounds nice."
You: "What's your task as a police officer?"
Jimin: "Since I'm still young they give me a lot of different tasks. One day I'm regulating traffic, the other day I'm working at the office. But I don't mind, I like that not every day is the same. It's always a surprise."
You: "I like that as well in my job. Not every client is the same, they have a different view and taste."
Jimin: "Can I see some of your work?"
You: "Sure, I have pictures on my phone."
I took my phone, which was laying on the bar. I unlocked it and showed him some pictures.
You: "This was my last project. I just came back from Paris, after two months of working there."
Jimin: "Wauw, this looks amazing. Did you design this in only two months?"
You: "No, I drew this structure almost a year ago. When they were done building the structure I went to Paris. Then I also did the interior of the building. They liked my style a lot."
Jimin: "I get that, your work is really great. It looks so futuristic."
You: "That's what they wanted, a futuristic look for their company building."
I showed Jimin a few other projects I worked on during this year. He seemed really impressed with my work. He kept asking questions with each photo he swiped.
Jimin: "You're really talented."
You: "Thank you. Do you want another drink?"
Jimin: "I'm drinking some water now. I still need to drive home."
I nod to his response. I order some water for him and another drink for me. This whole time we kept chitchatting, about everything that popped up in our minds. I kept drinking. I have a high alcohol tolerance, but after a while I could feel myself getting more and more drunk.
Jimin: "Should't you slow down a bit, before you get took drunk?"
You: "I think it's too late for that..."
Jimin: "How can you drive home like this?"
You: "I walked here, my house is not far away."
I took a quick glance at my phone, checking out the time. It was very late to my surprise. Did I just spend a whole afternoon and evening in a random bar? Yes, I did.
You: "Wauw, time flew by so fast. Maybe it's time for me to head home."
Jimin: "Maybe it's time for you to sober up a bit before you head home."
You: "I'll do that when I'm sleeping."
I took my walled out of my purse and made a sign to the bartender, letting him walk over to us. I asked him for the bill and gave him some money. I gave too much money actually, so he was about to get my change.
