Hello! If you're here, thank you for reading this far. Since new characters and connections have been revealed since the beginning of the story, I wanted to take a sec to list everyone so you're not confused!
Wally Clark: Duh. He's why you're here.
Kaitlyn Sands: A 17 year old who died of leukemia in April of her senior year. Due to her cancer being diagnosed during 6th grade, she couldn't be at school from then on, until she returned at the beginning of 10th grade. Her cancer returned aggressively in January of 12th grade. She hasn't yet revealed the story of how she died at the school building in April.
Charley and Rhonda: They're just like their characters in the show, except in a closer friend group with Wally.
Suraj: I've given one of the silent support group members a name! We don't know much about him yet, but he hangs out with Wally/Charley/Rhonda sometimes.
Dawn: The same character as in the show. Wally mentioned trying to flirt with her a little when he first became a ghost, but realized right away there was no interest on either side.
Mina: The girl in the theater from the show. She bonds a bit with Kaitlyn as a fellow theater lover.
Mr. Martin: The same teacher/group leader from the show, except there's no dark undertones or intentions.
Penny: Kaitlyn's younger sister, a 15 year old 10th grade cheerleader. She had a very close relationship with Kaitlyn.
Kaitlyn's mom: A single mom who is very close with her daughters.
Alison: Kaitlyn's best friend
Jenna: Another one of Kaitlyn's friends
Aiden Jankowski: He and Kaitlyn are close friends who grew up together. They dated over summer break before senior year, but not many people know, including Wally. Aiden and Kaitlyn were each other's first (and only, so far) sex experiences. They stayed good friends after they broke up. He's involved in theater too.
Ryan: A guy Kaitlyn had a crush on at the beginning of senior year. They made out backstage once but it didn't work out. Ryan realized afterward that he's gay.
Maddie and Janet are not in this story.

Also, much like the show, there isn't always consistency regarding how interacting with objects works. In my story, they can touch and pick up things and keep them permanently, without it affecting those objects in the real world. Anything the ghosts do or objects they interact with are invisible to all live people.
I take liberties with locations in the school building. So I might describe a room or area of the school that's not like how it is in the show, but please still picture the school generally as you've seen it.
Lastly, my goal is to write one chapter a week, so stay with me! My chapters have been getting longer, so I need time to really get it right. I'm LOVING writing this story, and I have so many plans.
Once again, I really enjoy drawing out the romance. Maybe because I'm kind of shy and would definitely not be, like, jumping anyone's bones within minutes ☺️ But I also just love sexual tension and the anticipation that builds before you touch someone the first time.
Thank you SO much for reading. I haven't written a story like this before, so it means a lot to know people are liking it. ❤️❤️❤️
Now here's the next chapter... It's a cute one, and a lot longer than my previous ones. Hope you all like! ☺️ Please leave a heart or comments if you want- it means SO much to me!
