Basically, ice skating...in the summer...?
After two months of break time, adult time, and vacation time, I AM OFFICIALLY BACK YES, YEEEEEEEEEEES, YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA-
But yep, I am back to making this weird ass chapter where (Y/N) goes ice skating and teaches Satan and his creations how to do it or something, kinda excited for it btw so enjoy!!!!!
~First Person POV~ (Enjoy!)
I was sitting on the couch while the alternates were spending their time playing 'Taco Cat Goat Cheese Pizza' and yelling at each other and pointing and clapping their heads. Every single freaking time, they always gotta fight each other from each card game or board game or any other game.
I was trying to clean off the worn dirt of my old ice skates, which was in an unopened box in my room I forgot to open (I didn't really pay attention to it..). I was kinda talented in ice skating, as my father and my cousin taught me how to do it. Though, it had been quite forever since I did it so it's gonna be a bumpy ride.
I began ice skating around the age of a child. And it was my hobby around this time until I grew up! I still did it until I moved here to Mandela County. It had already been nearly 11 months in my new life in this place and with my angel and his creations and soon, in possibly 1 month or 2, it would be my first anniversary moving here.
Ignoring the smacking fighting sounds of the competitive alternates slapping each others' faces and kicking each others' nuts while Stanley and the Preacher watch, Gabriel nonchalantly walked by them and sat down next to me in curiosity.
"Sweet Dove, what are they?" He asked, slightly tilting his head as he scooted close to me.
"My old ice skates." I replied to Gabriel, smiling at him and slightly shrugging my shoulders.
"I used to wear these whenever I want to ice skate...Man, it's been a while since I ice skated..." I sighed, staring at the ice skating shoes.
"What does...ice skating look like?" Gabriel said as he wondered what the heck could be ice skating like?
"Oh uh...It's like roller skating! But you're on ice! No literary involved, just on ice! Maybe more slippery but once you learn how to do it, you will be skilled enough to do it! It's not that easy, but it's not that hard! Granted, it took me 100 falls on my butt for me to do it efficiently so..." I responded awkwardly at the end, but I knew it was definitely worth it.
"I think I got it now." Gabriel politely replied with a smile on his face.
Preacher suddenly came up to me and I could see her rubbing her hands nervously. She soon looked at the ice skates and pointed at them before pointing at herself, trying to communicate with me since she was a mute alternate.
I stared at her, being confused by what she was trying to imply. "Uhhh, you...want to try ice skating?" I answered for her, in which she responded by nodding her head.
"Hmm, I don't know, Preacher. I did say it isn't that easy." I responded, fidgeting with the laces of one of my ice skates.
"But didn't you say it's not that hard once you practice?" N commented, tilting his elongated head.
"Wow, you guys have good hearing." I said awkwardly.
"Well I do wanna try. I think ice skating is satisfying and graceful. And I wanna be graceful." N said, confident enough to try it.
"Oh lemme guess, you're gonna twirl around on the ice like a big creepy ballerina?" Six chuckled, teasing him.
"Seriously, Six? At least I don't fall easily from branches and ladders."
