As Lacey walked home from her bus stop, her orbs caught a glimpse of someone new. A cute boy with curly hair and light brown skin. She couldn't quite place him, but he was definitely on her bus. A new kid possibly. He turned onto another street, but Lacey couldn't stop thinking about him as she walked to her own house. Who was he? Would she see him again?
She made it back home in a jiffy and decided to treat herself to some food online while waiting for her father. If only she had a car, she would've made it back even quicker! At 20, she was dying to have her own car, but her parents insisted that she learn responsibility and buy it with her own money. "Blah blah blah," she thought, as she excitedly placed her order.." She didn't care. At her H-E-B job, she would get more than enough money to buy a great car.
The next morning, 6:55 am
The sun was shining, and the birds were chirping as she walked towards the bus stop, feeling excited at the prospect of seeing the boy she found so attractive. As she sat down on the bus, she couldn't help but think he was stunning, with his hair and beautiful brown eyes that shone in the light of sunrise at the bus stop. She imagined he could easily be a model, walking the runways of Paris and Milan, eventually making a fortune and gaining fame. Suddenly, out of nowhere, words jolted her out of her thoughts. "Can I sit here?" The boy asked, flashing her a shy smile that made her heart skip a beat.
