1. Roses

Third persons pov

"Hahahaha" a laugh is heard from the fields. The sun shines , the birds singing the melody as the wind sways and brings us to the big old tree. Sitting under the big ,dark , heavy bough , reading her favorite novel , she was giggling and laughing every other minute .

The big tree with a hollow at the top seemed like a squirrels nest where the two squirrels peeked at the girl laughing. The smooth leaves perfectly lustered by the soft rays of the sun. As the wind blew , a gentle rustling sound was heard from the tree , praising god for letting such a beauty sit under its shade.

Her pearly white's visible as she laughed and hair long luscious hair swayed with the wind. Indeed she was a beauty , as the nature kept praising her she finally closed her book letting out a sigh.

Aera's pov

I sigh as i close my book and let my head rest at the trees bark , while i take in the view in front of me . The lavender field , the children of the town playing and messing with the elders later getting scolded by them . A let out a sigh again .

"Another book finished , what am i going to to now" i was whining by now . " i cant keep doing work and roam around doing nothing " i huff as i get up from the ground dusting off my clothes and start to walk towards my house. Walking down the busy lane , i noticed how people were so busy with their lives , bakers selling muffins and cookies , the old ladies selling bouquets, even young girls do it too now .

" i wonder how they're living life so boringly" i mumble in between while looking here and there. The kids running down the lane on their bicycles while some adults sit on the foot path outside the café enjoy their coffee.

"Good afternoon ,rose" "Good afternoon to you too, mrs park" i greet her back entering the cafe. "Good afternoon , rose "
"GOOD AFTERNOON, ROSIEEE!" One by one i greet back everyone who greets me .

"Hey rose" sunghoon greets me with a wide smile which i gladly return back " hey hoon" i take a seat beside the barista counter "the usual" he asks "yep".

"Ok , here you go , an iced matcha" he passes me the drink as i mumble a tiny thank you .
" what's up with that gloomy mood of yours?" He raises an eyebrow at me folding his arms over his chest.

" finished another book , dont know what to do , i dont want to work , because i have nothing else to do!" I complain laying my head on the counter . "Girl , what about your college entrance exam result , is it out?" I look up at his face and blink a few times before answering " yea i passed" i put my head down again and his eyes pop out of his socket " YOU WHAT!? AND YOU DIDNT TELL!"

"Tch sunghoon , lower your volume will you" i hiss . "After a year i finally passed so what , i have nothing to do until college starts" .

" well you know you could've given me a treat" he sulks .

" aish stop it already i have given you enough treats , besides it's time you give the exam and show me if you can pass it and I'll give you all the treats you want .... Without complaining "

I smirk at him . He just gives me the look of  "im so done with you" while i just laugh.

"Anyways I'll go now see ya later hoonie" i wave and he waves back " ok bye" i bid him goodbye and start walking home . In the middle of the street more people greet me "good afternoon rose"and i greet back , the kids stop me to play with them , so for a i jump , play and laugh around like a kid , i mean why not , playing with kids is fun . I finally say my goodbye when i get tired and warmly smile at the kids.
