She fell down Hard and screamed from the pain , clutching her bump.

Taesuk's eyes widened as he rushed down the stairs.

" I'm so sorry. Are you alright ?"

Hae-ri groaned in pain and Taesuk called an ambulance. They went to the hospital.

Taesuk was roaming around , in front of the ward.

" It's a miracle.The baby is fine. How did she fall again? "

" She slipped from the stairs ".

The doctor nodded and went off after telling taesuk to take care of her.

He then took her to the Laboratory, to do a DNA test.

Hae-ri gulped and msged someone quickly.

They reached and the test was conducted. An hour later , the results were out , in which Taehyung was Taesuk's child only.

The woman and Hae-ri nodded their heads at each other with a smile , a smile of which only both of them knew the meaning of.

They returned home and slept in separate rooms.

Hae-ri thought about what had happened all over and grew angry.

The mansion was quite , it was around 2. She slid out of the covers and wore her slippers.

She smoked a cigarette and went to the garage, picked up a can of kerosene and went upstairs.

*I had enough of you , jeon taesuk.*

She thought as she spilled the kerosene at the passed out taesuk.

Then she burned a small piece of paper and set the sheets on fire. Throwing the cigarette in the fire too.

She then started screaming.

" HELP ! SOMEBODY ! HELP ! "

The headmaid ran out from the maid quarters and went upstairs to see everything on fire with Hae-ri standing there crying hysterically.

The headmaid got her madam out of the house , into the garden and called the police.

Soon police arrived with an ambulance too.

" What happened Here ? "

The inspector asked the headmaid.

" I was sleeping then suddenly I heard madam screaming. I went out and saw her crying and master was burning."

" Did he have any enemies ? "

" No , sir. Master is a good man. I have known him well."

" Do you have anyone in mind ?"

The headmaid said nothing and gazed at the spaced out Hae-ri sitting on the swing with a hand on her bump.

The inspector sighed and went over to Hae ri. Ambulance had taken Taesuk already.

" Miss Hae-ri? "

She gave no response and sat there idly , staring at nothing.

The inspector sighed and told her to come with him for further investigation.

Thr headmaid called jungkook.

" Young master !"

Jungkook groaned and looked at the caller ID.

" Is everything alright ?"

"It's your hyung. He - Someone …"

" What ? What happened to him ?"

Jungkook got up alerted by the headmaid's voice full of worry.

" Somebody burnt him, an ambulance just took him to the SIH."

Jungkook hung up and left his house. He drove quickly , almost getting into an accident and reached the hospital.

He saw police inspectors with Hae-ri standing outside ICU.

" Where is hyung ? How is he ? What happened ? "

The police inspector who was in charge took him aside and explained everything.

" But how and why would anyone do it ? "

His vision got blurred by his tears as he sat down on one of the chairs.

The inspector patted his back.

" We will find out soon. He is in a critical condition, you should pray for him."

*It can't be her, right ?*

Jungkook thought as he glanced at Hae-ri who stood there with eyes void of any emotion.

After 2 hours , the doctors came out. Jungkook got up , eyes full of hope.

Doctor gazed at the inspector , who removed his cap and bowed his head.

" I'm sorry to say , but we couldn't save him. We tried everything we could. My condolences…."

Jungkoom tuned out the words as he broke down and cried endlessly.

They shifted taesuk to the morgue.

" Why did you have to leave me hyung ? Why ? "

The inspector called Mr and Mrs Jeon who reached as early as they could. The whole jeon family suffered.
