Jungkook left his university and was doing a job at " Jin's Cafe ". Kim Seok Jin was the owner of this cafe but he treated Jungkook like his own brother. Everything was going well, but Jungkook still didn't forget his Hyung's death and his beloved sister-in-law. His phone rang in his pocket, he glanced at Jin to silently ask if he could take this call. Jin nodded and let it slide just this once seeing Jungkook's expressions.

" Hello, is this Jeon Jungkook speaking?

" Yes, Jungkook here. What happened?

"I am calling from Busan National Hospital, there is a patient who wishes to meet you"

"A patient? who?"

"I'm afraid we can't disclose confidential information, you are requested to visit urgently."

"I'll be there soon. "

Jungkook informed Jin about everything and went off on leave. Upon reaching the hospital, he inquired about the details of the patient. Haeri lay there resting, pale and tired since it was an emergency C section. The baby was sleeping soundly.

"How are you?"

Jungkook didn't want Haeri to know that he knew everything. He feigned innocence.

"Good. Jungkook, I know we haven't been that close since my husband's death. I know this is a big responsibility, but I can't trust anyone else with him. I will pursue my career and I have decided to give Kim Tae-Hyung to an orphanage for adoption. Can you please get him enrolled in the orphanage?"

"What?!, Kim Taehyung... I can't do that to him."

He walked over to the crib and smiled at the cute baby. His heart hurt imagining the future of this baby. He touched the baby's hands, and the baby gripped his finger tightly.

"Fine, I will give him to Eomma and Appa. I am also not in a position to take care of him and raise him by myself. They will nourish him and will take great care of him."

Haeri sighed and turned her head away from both Jungkook and her child. Jungkook picked up the cute angel and teared up. The baby woke up and started crying, he took one last look at Haeri and went out, singing a lullaby and rocking the baby until he slept.

He saw his parents drinking tea and playing chess.

"Oh! Welcome Bub. How have y- whose baby is this??"

"I'm good Eomma. This is ...... Hyung's baby. His name is Kim Taehyung."

"Come on inside and take a seat Jungkook."

"Oh, my beautiful grandson. He is so cute. What happened to Haeri? Did she die?"

"She well.... she was giving Tae-Hyung up for adoption as she wanted to pursue her career and my heart didn't allow me to give him in an orphanage. So, I brought him here. I couldn't think of anything else."

"You don't need to worry about him son, we will raise him well. How is your job?"

"It's good, I took a leave today and found out about this cute baby. I'm tired so I'll go back in the morning."

Mrs. Jeon took Tae-Hyung from Jungkook and handed him to Mr. Jeon. She made dinner for her baby and fed him well.

During the dinner, Jungkook told his parents everything. Mr. Jeon listened patiently and called Mr. Kim. Their business partnership was over now.

"Your Appa will handle the Jeon corporation once again. That wretched woman, it's good that she didn't get to raise Tae-Hyung. God knows what she might have done to my one and only grandchild."

"True, I will appeal in the High Court for the reopening of the case. Hyung's death should be justified."

Mr. Jeon encouraged Jungkook and offered full support.

After dinner, Jungkook went up to his parent's room and saw his mother rocking the baby gently, lulling him to sleep.

"Eomma, you remember the necklace I gave you? The one with the butterfly design?"

"Yes, what about it bub?"

"Give it to Taehyung when he is 18 years old. I hope it will suit him well."

Mrs. Jeon eyed Jungkook but said nothing.

Years passed, Taehyung was a bright and a bubbly student. Jungkook sold all his shares which he had inherited and opened "Jeon Fashions". His Co-CEO being Kim Seokjin.
Mrs. jeon was content but worried too for her husband. Yug Yeom opened his own gym and 2 clubs. Him and Jungkook were good friends. Life goes on.
