"I'll promise ill clean it before dinner!" douma exclaimed trying to hide the dead female behind the curtain. its been a few days since the young girl landed in douma's residence and Akaza's visits have been more frequent after that. and no matter how much he tried to cover it with saying it's just to supervise he deep down knew it was just to spend more time with the girl.
" do you even realize we have a human child in the house now... she can get scared of this" akaza complained annoyingly, being done with the rainbow demon.
" c'mon how can she possibly be here she must be in her room playing with those doll-"
" ah um... " a voice called from the doorstep, where the small girl stood rubbing her eyes.
"Where's brother? and ume?"
"oh, they umm they went to kil-"
" they went to work, did his voice disturb you "Akaza said holding the girl in his arms, " I am sorry about that I'll make sure he won't disturb you the next time," he said trying to avoid her attention from the body inside the room, he gave signals from his hand in the back to clear the mess up, as the red demon walked out to take a stroll.
"tch did he really order me to clean when he gets to have all the fun" Douma sighed pulling the body towards the nearby cupboard.

" soo.... " akaza said trying to think of a topic to talk with a small girl.
" so? "
" how old are you? I never asked it did I?" akaza asked curiously. the girl replied slowly as she raised two of her fingers, pulling the third one as well
"Maybe this much" she exclaimed flexing the petite fingers in front of him.
" my my you are really a big lady now aren't you" he laughed jumping from building to building trying to find a good place to sit.
" my brother says I am small"
"Everyone thinks their child is small"
"their child?"
" I mean as they are your guardians now, you are their child"
" did you have a mother too akasa" the girl said leaning towards his chest, trying to hear his heartbeat.
"me? umm yes, maybe I did."
"Was she pretty?"
" I think she was"
" did you love her?"
" of course I did" he chuckled seeing small questions perking in her mind.
" do you think my mom loved me too?" she asked suddenly looking straight into his eyes, it was clear that she was serious, akaza settled them near a waterfall, getting her on his lap.
"It would be so hard not to love a sweet child like you"
" then why did she leave me?" she questioned again, tears pooling in her eyes.
" some people don't understand the value of true treasure, it was her loss she missed on such a beautiful life." the demon said slowly wiping her tears from the back of his hand. her tears pained something in him, and he didn't like it.
" then can I exchange her for a new mom?"
"pfft- yeah maybe we can do that," he said falling in the grass behind them, " then I'll have a big family! Everyone would be so happy you know " she squealed her eyes lighting in excitement
" then can I be a part of your family too?" akaza slowly asked opening one eye to look at her face getting even more brighter
" oh my gosh yes definitely you can, you know we can do so many things together!! do you know how to cook?"
" yeah I do"
" you are perfect akasa!!" she complimented, hugging him trying to wrap her small hands around the demon. " you are really the best"
akaza slowly gave into it, melting into the hug as well, smelling her sweet scent and happy aroma. they both sat there for a long time, occasionally talking about random things and playing random games like the one they were doing right now
" just see akasa I'll make up in this one" young Suki said pointing the rock towards the lake, but rather than it tapping on the surface it sank down..... again
"pfft it's fine you are good for a new player Suki"
" but how do you win every time! it's cheating" she said her cheeks puffing a bit
"Aw don't worry you'll surely surpass me soon " " you really think so?"
" of course I do, I believe in you Suki!" he said picking her up as he swung her in the air, laughter echoing in the forest. " hahaha more higher aka"
"aka?"
" that's your new name, I always get your name wrong... it's pretty this way" she suggested hopefully looking into his eyes.
"Okay then you can call me that but only when we are alone? understood?" he said poking her nose.
" Sure aka- chan!!" she hugged him surprisingly while laying her head on his shoulder and yawning a bit
"Are you tired?"
"a little" the small voice mumbled, taking comfort in his shoulder.
" then let's go home," he said firmly holding her back while jumping all the way back to their manor.
" oh my gosh, I thought you wouldn't come! you both took such a long stroll do you even know how bored I was-"
"shh!" akaza whispered, unwrapping his hand to show the sleeping figure in his arms.
" she looks so cute!" douma gushed over how her chest rose up every time she took a breath, how her eyes twitched occasionally, and the way her cheeks were getting pink with the cold.
" how about you settle her down... I'll prepare her bed," the rainbow demon said excusing himself as he went to bring Futan, while Akaza sat in the room, glancing at the small baby in his hand, tucking a few hairs back from her face.
" good night little bean" he chuckled planting a small kiss on her temple.
" good night Mom..."
