Chapter 23

"Zuko, we dont have time to be hiding."

⤷I was looking around the house for Zuko with one of his shoes in my hand,

i noticed him sitting behind the door.

I huffed, "Mummy, i dont wanna go." He whined moving from behind the door,

"Cmon, daddy is waiting for us in the car." I put his shoe on putting him on my hip taking my bag then walking out the house.

"Why do we go grandpa party." He asks annoyed as i put him in his carseat.

"It's a party he's hosting for your third birthday." Dabi interupted the both of us.

"I want birthday in home." He crossed his arms furrowing his brows, i shut his door entering the car fixing my dress as i sat.

We drove through highways as we went to the party, dabi hasnt spoken to me today and didnt seem intrested in me at all

He just looked angry, and so was zuko

Whats wrong with these damn todoroki men with the same angry face

I looked back at sleeping Zuko who wore a simple black shirt and black jeans, he practically fought me while I dressed him.

I pulled out my phone texting mina and it seemed she was already there with my family and the other people I don't know.

I mean we were just pulling into the driveway so it's alright, i got out the car opening the back door.

I smirked. "Oh no Zuko must be sleeping." I joked, a smile went on his face. I unbuckled his seatbelt picking him up taking my bag along with me.

"Mummy you woke me up." He smiled rubbing his eye. "Oh my apologies Zuko." I tiggled his stomach walking with dabi to the door.

The door was open, we walked down the corridor into a huge hall and everyone seemed to be in the room talking.

"Hello guys, sorry we're late." Dabi walked in, i put Zuko down watching him run after Milly.

"Y/n, how are you?" Mina says behind me holding a few drinks drinks, "Ive been alright, how about you?" I ask in return

"Im pregnant sis!" She shouts pointing at her small bump. "I didnt even notice, congratulations." I say giving her a hug.

"Mina bring the drinks." I heard ace say sitting with my mum and angelo, "Okay, come sit with us," She pulled my arm taking me with her

I followed behind her to the table where my mum and dad were sitting, "Hello baby," My mum said standing up to give me a kiss

"Hello mum, hey guys." I say to everyone on the table, they all waved at me saying their hello

"Y/n have you put on weight," My mum says inspecting my stomach as I sat down, "I'm not sure, I think so."
