i wake a few days later and i'm going to winterfell today. leaving my family. war has been called for. the north sworn to rhaenyra. the eyrie too, along with the crownlands, the reach and stormlands, along with a bunch of others. my father sends me a sad smile "you know you don't have to go...you could stay here. we'd keep you safe" i send him one back "if i am not here...aemond won't find me easily. he'd expect for me to be here. i cannot be found. ever father. i won't go back alive"

he kisses my forehead "you're my first born. the embodiment of a love i had long ago. i won't let anyone hurt you ever again" i grab his hand "i know that. but i wont risk aemond hurting anyone here because you want to protect me. it's bad enough there's a war to be faced." he nods accepting it "cregan stark is a honorable man" "aemond too would call himself honorable. i'll believe it when i see it" i say softly as we walk the beach.

he says "the north is cold and harsh. they're different there. you'll have a bit to endure. but i know you will do well. cregan will see to it himself. you'll be safe there my hatchling." i ask "what if i never see any of you again?" thinking about the war. i could not bare such a thing. feeling and seeing them die the way i did with luke's demise. he sends me a smile "trust me daughter. we will see one another. i'll fly out to you once you arrive and settle if the was permits such a thing." i nod "i love you" he smiles "i love you more alyssa" kissing my temple leading me to Maegor, Tyraenyx and Rhaelyx. my things ready. jace says "you should stay here...with us where you're safe" i smile and hug him "you know i can't jace. visit me" he nods and hugs me tightly "i can't lose anyone else" i kiss his temple "you wont" i say goodbye to the rest of my brothers and nod awkwardly to my sisters. and with a bit of a resistance Maegor lets Ser Lyle mount him with me. and we fly north.
