To no avail the girl's parents didn't rouse, they lay in a pool of blood. The youngster tried again.
"MOMMY! DADDY!" She cried. Her parent's bodies were as still as a rock. It was too late. The young girl was on her own. She sobbed as she tried to grab the phone and dial 9-1-1. She shook as she did this, soon an operator answered and the girl cried her poor heart out to the lady on the other end. She told them how her parents had been murdered and how she was now all alone, no aunts or uncles, no siblings, no one to care for the poor child.
