Late night driving always made her calm and happy with whomever she was accompanied with. This night was different(in a good way).

Imogen was driving(to nowhere in particular. just driving around)and Rena is gripping the seat arm rest for dear life. Going 10 miles over the speed limit really makes you fear everything.
Imogen gave no flying fucks ans is scream-singing any song that comes on the radio.
"WHEN WE ARE YOUNG THEY ASSUME WE KNOW NOTHING!!!!" she sang.
"YOUR BEAUTY NEVER EVER SCARED ME!!!!" she sang louder.
"THAT'S WHERE I FIND A GLI-" Imogen was cut off by a hand touching hers.
Rena didnt realize that when she moved her hand, she placed it on Imogens. Imogen pulled into a parking lot to calm her friends nerves. Rena breathed slowly and shakily. She looked at Imogen and laughed. Imogen looked at their hands with a knot in her stomach. Rena was confused and looked at their hands. Embarrased, she moved her hand away from the other blushing girl.
Imogen went on autopilot. She grabbed Rena's hand again.
"Please. I like holding your hand." Imogen pleaded.
Rena blushed and intertwined her hand with the other girl's.
"Ok," Rena shyly replied.
Imogen was in heaven. The smaller girl looked around the grocery store parking lot to make sure no one was around. Imogen leaned over and kissed Rena.
"S-sorry. I've been wanting to do that for a while." Imogen apologized.
Rena blushed furiously. The taller girl looked at Imogen and smiled.
"I didn't mind haha..." Rena admitted.
"Oh?" Imogen responded.
