chapter 9, helpless audition place, 3:00
AALIYAHS POV
we walk in and there are so many people. they look about my age and seem super talented. oh my goodness and all the girl are gorgeous, I'm gonna scream. "so who are you auditioning for?" ryan asked. also guess what? he used to model. when he told me I freaked out, because he used to 2 years ago!
"I'm trying for amber, what about you?" were going for a new movie called "summer, again" "no way, I'm trying for asher!" oh my gosh. they're love interests. my eyes widen. my cheeks probably started to go red. i honestly wouldn't even mind.
as we waited and waited I finally got called up. my palms were so sweaty but then i remembered that i'm amazing at acting so what's the problem. as i got in there, they asked me about myself and then i got to actually read the lines.
"that was so scary." i told ryan. "hey i bet you did amazing! don't stress yourself out for no reason." he told me, boosting my confidence.
i did actually do really good, i'm super proud.
"ryan garcia you're up next!" the casting director called. holy shit. he's ally's brother!? this is horrible, they are completely different.
twenty minutes went by then he came out with a glowing face and beaming smile. "how'd it go?" i asked. "it was amazing! i did so good." he told me. "do you need a ride home aswell?" "um no i'll get a ride from my friend, he's on his way." i texted matt to come get me because everyone else was busy.
"he? do you have a boyfriend?" ryan queried. "it's kinda complicated, i don't really know, but not matthew, we're just friends." i replied. "oh okay."
"matt, thank goodness your here!" i said running to his car. "gosh, you good?" he asked me. "no!" i sighed as he drove out. "there was this really cute and nice guy but guess what, his last name is garcia." i vented. "oh ya that's not very good..."
i sighed and he just put on some sza. that boosted my mood but still. how can he be so kind and his sister, a bitch?
its three hours later and im about to have dinner. i have the worst headache and feel like shit. i get a call from the audition place which, confused me because it usually takes longer.
"hello its amera from the audition agency, is this aaliyah?" she spoke on the phone. "yeah it is!" "well, i am very pleased to say, you booked the role of amber!" she exclaimed. "congratulations!"
"wow, thank you so much! i'm so excited to start working on it." i said happily. "of course! we will send you an email soon with all the information and details."
she explained and talked about everything else about it. as we hung up i ran downstairs and told my mom and brother. they were so excited and it made me so grateful!
i was so exhausted from the day i had and was full of feelings. i don't know if i'm gonna actually like ryan.
