I just came back from my doctor visit and I haven't been feeling the best lately. They informed me that my cancer has come back. I kind of figured because I feel how I felt when I started feeling sick years ago. The doctors told me I have about 2 years to live. The first time I had cancer I wasn't prepared at all and I didn't wanna leave the love of my life and daughter. This time around I wasn't worried as much to leave. I think that I'm going to move me and Megan to Oakland so we can be closer to family.

Megan now has a girlfriend and named kehlani I knew kehlani parents treated Megan like their daughter. My long time best friend Andrea and her daughter Normani also accepted her into their family. Megan has also been at Kehlani's house a lot and I feel that will help her. I want her to get use to me not being around as much and closer to the people in her life that can support her. I want to tell my best friend the news first because it's about time I start telling people. I also want to talk to Kehlani's parents about kehlani and Megan being able spend the night at our houses whenever they want. I also didn't mention the family we already have down here.

I just made it home seeing Megan wasn't here I dialed my best friends number

I watched tv on the couch till Drea got here

Drea-"hey hollyyyyy"

Holly-"hey andreaaaaa"  I said hugging her

Holly-"a little under the weather, you?"

Holly-"nothing just a little tired"

Drea-"oh okay" she said sounding suspicious

Drea-"I've been good though"

Holly-"good how about Normani?"

Drea-"good she been hanging out with her friends and of course Megan"

Holly-"I know Megan's been hanging with her girlfriend and them"

Drea-"I need to meet her"

Holly-"I'm pretty sure you will"

Holly-"anyways let's sit down I have something I need to tell you"

Holly-"I don't know how to word this but I went to the doctors 3 months ago and they told me I have 1-2 years to live. The cancer is back and there's nothing they can do.

Drea-"are you sure there's no way, we could always see another doctor"

Holly-"Drea it's okay, I'm ready"

Drea-"but I'm not" she was staring to cry

Holly-"Drea I'm always gonna be with you"

Drea-"but I won't be able to talk to you"

Holly-"yes you will, you know how I talk to Joseph"

Drea-"I'm gonna miss you" she said getting up to hug me

Holly-"I'm not gon yet" I said hugging her tightly

Drea-"how are you going to tell Megan"

Holly-"I don't know but I know she has people here to support her"

Drea-"just tell me if I need to do anything"

Holly-"i know"

Holly-"now do you need to get home or can we have a little movie night"

Drea-"movie night"

Holly-"alright Ima gonna go make some popcorn"

11:00pm

Holly-"bye drea, I'll see you later"

The next day

10:30 am
I decided to call kehlani's mom because I needed to talk to kehlani's dad and mom
Calling kehlani's mom.....

Kelly- "hey holly"
Holly-"hey Kelly, I was wondering if you and drew could meet me for lunch to talk about something"

Holly-"alright, is 12:00 okay"
Kelly-"it is, see you later"

12:00pm
I pulled up to the lunch spot, I got out and saw Kelly and drew walking in.

Holly-"Kelly!!"
"Drew"

Drew-"hey Holly"

Holly-"hey drew" I said walking into the restaurant pass drew holding the door open

Holly-"hey Kelly" I said giving her a hug and drew a quick side hug

We sat down and made small talk till the waiter took our order

Holly-"I guess it's time for me to tell you guys why I asked yall for lunch"

Kelly-"okay!!"

Holly-"Megan doesn't know the full truth of why we moved to Oakland"

"I moved Megan and I to Oakland to be closer. To be closer to family and because my cancer has come back"

Drew-"are you taking chemo?"

Holly-"no there's nothing they can do,I have 1-2 years left"

Kelly-"are you sure, I know very good doctors?"

"We could see if there's something they could do"

Holly-"Kelly it's fine, I'm ready"

Drew-"are you sure? We know very good doctors"

Holly-" I'm sure"

"Anyways I was wondering if it's okay for kehlani and Megan to be at our houses anytime they want"

Drew-"that's totally fine is there anything esle you need from us"

Kelly-"and you can ask whenever"

Holly-"well I guess I want you two to promise, you'll always be there for Megan because she already told me yall treat her like your daughter"

Kelly-"we can make that promise" The waiter came out with our food
