A few days had passed since Ling Xiao Gē and Ling Bà were at the hospital and Jianjian, Ziqiu Gē, Bà and I were waiting for them like we always did the past few days.
"It's 11 p.m." Bà said as Jianjian and I yawned as we got tired. "Just go to bed for tomorrow's classes." Bà told us "Okay." "Alright." Jianjian and I said as we got up, but then we stopped as we heard the door opening.
"Ling Bà!" Jianjian yelled out as we ran to meet him at the door. "You two scared me." Ling Bà said. "Where's Ling Xiao Gē?" I asked as I looked behind him "He went to the countryside with them." Ling Bà said "Huh?" Jianjian and I said at the same time confused.
"How can you two stay up late? Go and get me some water." Ling Bà said as he put on his indoor slippers. "Okay." I said as I went to get him his cup of water "Sit down here." Bà told Ling Bà "OK." He said as he sat down "So how is going with Chen Ting?" Bà asked as I gave Ling Bà his water. "Her husband died instantly. Chen Ting was badly injured and is now under treatment. Her husband's family asked her family to get there soon. So I drove Xiao and his uncle to apply for visas this afternoon. It takes several days anyway." Ling Bà said.
"This period is fit for holding a funeral for Xiao's grandma. Local customs are complicated." Ling Bà told us. "How can Ling Xiao handle so many things?" Bà asked "He has grown up now. No matter he can, or he can not, he have to hold on." Ling Bà said, "How did it happen?" I asked.
"They drove too fast out of anxiety." Ling Bà said as we all just sighed and took in the information.
