Today, Jianjian and I were at the cafe drawing while we waited for Mingyue. While I was finishing up my sketch, Mingyue came in and sat down next to me looking exhausted "What's wrong?" Jianjian asked as she lightly tapped Mingyue on the head with her pencil.
"I'm exhausted. The assignments from school and from tutoring class. Both unfinished." Mingyue told us making Jianjian laugh. "All I wish for is a machine that can help me do homework." Jianjian said making me turn to her "Not that you aren't doing a great job helping me Jiě." Jianjian said laughing nervously.
"Idiot." I said smiling as I continued on my sketch "You wish." Mingyue said as I nodded my head agreeing with her.
"Did Ling Xiao take you guys to do painting?" Mingyue asked as she looked around. "No, college entrance exam. They're studying at home." I said "Good for them. I thought Brother He won't go out because of Zhao Huaguang." Mingyue said making Jianjian and scoff at the mention of that guy "No way. Ziqiu Gē said Zhao didn't come to him anymore. Besides, Zhao came to see our Bà. Our neighbor Granny Qian threw him out with water. I bet he wouldn't dare to come." Jianjian said making Mingyue smile.
"What do you and Zhu Li want me for?" Jianjian asked us "Mr. Huang called me to give Tang Can the notes for this week." Mingyue said.
"And he told me to tutor her so she can catch up with the rest of the class. So I'm going over so we can discuss a suitable time." I said sighing. "She's asked for leave next week again. She hasn't caught up last week's class." Mingyue said "No wonder. Transfer and repeat grade. She couldn't keep up with grade five's study if she misses so many classes. Don't bother with the notes and tutoring her. She can't understand any of that. Waste of time." Jianjian said.
"That's her business then. Mingyue has to furnish the task given by Mr. Huang. And if she can't understand with my help I'll just tell Mr. Huang that I can't tutor her anymore." I said as Mingyue and I packed up our things.
"Come." Mingyue told Jianjian as we got up and left the cafe and headed to where Tang Can lives.

As we arrived, we couldn't get into the building so we were all waiting in the hot sun for a long while. As we waited in the hot sun, I was using my notebook as shade, while Jianjian and Mingyue shared Jianjian's notebook 𝑊ℎ𝑒𝑟𝑒 𝑖𝑠 𝑡ℎ𝑖𝑠 𝑔𝑖𝑟𝑙...? I thought groaning.
