Tommy's pov

I got off work at about 9 pm and decided to go home and wait for my Buck to get home. He usually gets off work at about 10 so I don't have to wait very long. I finally get home and decide to just watch some TV. I turned on the Simpsons my favorite show since I was a child. As im sitting on the couch in the middle of an episode I hear rain coming from outside. I get a little nervous, scared that it might start thundering I'm fine with rain but ever since I was a baby I've always hated thunder and lightning it's just something about the noise that's always freaked me out. I start to try to calm down and clear my mind when I hear a loud bang of thunder coming from the front porch. I quickly jump up going to lock the doors I don't know why it's just an instinct thing when I'm done I run back to the couch to try and forget about it. "I really hope buck gets home soon." I say to myself.
After hearing another sound of thunder I turn the TV up slightly loud hoping to drown out the sound. Just as when I hear more I start to cry getting really scared. When I hear the sound of keys opening the door I start to feel a little bit relieved knowing that Bucks home he always makes me feel better when I'm upset about something. "Hey baby I'm home where are you?" I hear buck say walking into the house.
"I'm in here" I say kinda quietly sounding.
"Hey babe what's wrong?" Buck asks with a hint concern in his voice while walking into the living room.
"I'm just scared of the thunder it's really loud and scary." I say trembling a little bit clearly nervous.
"Oh Tommy I'm sorry come here." Buck says gently while walking over to Tommy sitting down as tommy lays on him.
"It's alright I'm sorry for being such a baby about this." I say feeling embarrassed for being afraid of thunder.
"Hey don't apologize it's perfectly ok to be afraid of thunder everyone's afraid of something but don't worry I'm here to protect you." Buck says while pulling me closer to him.
"Thank you baby." I say giving him a gentle kiss he always knows how to make me calm down.
"Of course I'll always be here to protect you." Buck says smiling.
I just smile give him a smile back snuggling closer to him as we stayed like that for the rest of the night I felt safe in his arms.

sorry this chapter wasn't the greatest I'm writing this at 4am while being very tired😩 I'll try to write a better one soon but I hope you guys enjoyed it :)
