Chapter 1

Excuse my mistakes Enjoy!  

DaMani POV

So it's the first day of school and you know I gotta look cute. I rolled out of bed and hopped in the shower. I get out 20 minutes later and do my hygiene thang. I go to my closet to find me something to wear once I'm done wit that. After about 10 minutes of just staring at my closet I finally pick my outfit. I put on my dark jeans and roll them up, my white and burgundy striped shirt, my olive green jacket, and my white chucks. Once I got all my clothes on and all my stuff together I unwrap my hair, curl my bang, and make sure the rest of my hair is straight. My alarm went off letting me know it was time to go. I tell my momma I'm gone and grab me something quick for me to eat and leave.

I walk down the street and see my BF Kasey at the end of her driveway waiting for me. " Could you move any slower?" yells Kasey. So knowing me I start walking slower, just to make her mad. "You know what forget it, I ain't finna be on you no mo." she yells as she starts walking away. I start laughing and walking to catch up wit her. Once I finally caught up with her she looks at me. So I looked at her smirking and said "What? Why you looking at me like that?" She finally said after what seemed like forever "Cause you gone start walking slower knowing Imma be mad cause you taking forever." "I do not be taking forever" " Uh yeah you really do." "Whatever. Beauty takes time." I say as I flip my hair over my shoulder. She looks at me again and says " That's what you call beauty?" I stopped and just looked at her like oh no this lil heffer did not... She bust out laughing like something was funny. I just flicked her and kept walking. When she caught up with me at the bus stop she said, " You know I was just playing with you ... Girl you look FLAWLESS!! You might actually get you a man today!!" she said while laughing. I was laughing with her 'til she said that and I just flicked her off again and just stood there waiting for the bus.

The only reason i did this is 'cause she know how I am when it comes to stuff like that. I have been single for as long as I can remember ... Well I have been in a few relationship when I was younger but I don't acknowledge those as real relationships so yeah... I feel like the Virgin Mary of my friends because I'm still a virgin and on top of that I have never had my first kiss. Yupp I'm that friend. You know the one that starts talking to people and texting them but either the boy stops talking to me or I stop talking to them. The one that can give the best advice, especially for relationships but has never been in one. The one that is always there for everyone and helping them get a man or girl, but can't seem get anyone to help them get one. That reasoning being is because they already got someone. So yeah, I kinda got mad and upset about her saying that, but at the end of the day I knew she meant no harm.

So when she goes to ask what's wrong and why am I not talking to her anymore (like she is doing now), I'll just give her that look and repeat what she just said for her to get the clue. Then she'll look, think, and then say, "I'm soooooooo sorry I didn't mean it like that I was just messing with you..." And I'll cut her off and say, "It's okay I know but can you just not say it again. Please?" While trying to hold back the tears that are threatening to fall. And she'll look at me shake her head yes, say ok, and give me a hug. By the time all of that is over the bus pulls up and we get on heading to the school to start our day.

Monesha POV

I'm finally up and dressed ready for school. I go outside and wait for the bus but while I'm waiting I'll take a few pics for the gram and snapchat. When I'm done with that I put my headphones on and listen to my music while I'm on the bus. I got to the school before Kasey and DaMani, so I found a table in the cafeteria for us to sit at. Once they walked in I seen them but they ain't see me, so I yelled Mani name. When she looked and saw me, she grabbed Kas and came to where I was sitting. When they sat down Mani had this look on her face like someone just told her the worst news they could have possibly told her. So I asked "Mani what the hell is wrong wit you... Over there looking like someone shot yo dog dead right in front of you." "Nothing is wrong with me Mo," she says, trying to convince me that she is alright. I just said okay whatever you and texted Kas to find out the truth

Me: What's really wrong wit her?

Kas⛽💙: We was laughing and joking when we were walking to the bus stop and while we were waiting for the bus, I accidentally said something that I shouldn't have said...

Me: And what did you say??

Kas⛽💙: I said that she looked good today and that she actually might be able to get a man today and after I said it she flicked me off and stopped talking to me.

Me: Ooh shit ... Why the hell you say that you know how she get about that type of shit.

Kas⛽💙: Ik ik I apologized and promised her I wouldn't say it again.

Me: Oh ok.

I looked up after that to say something to Mani, but she was gone... Where did she go??? Wherever she at we gotta find her before she starts to have a meltdown.
