Kasey POV

We got to school and were looking for Mo. I guess Mani saw her cause she started dragging me in that direction. When we sat down she asked Mani what was wrong wit her. And of course knowing her she told Mo nothing, which was all know was a lie cause on any given day she be hype and ready to party. So since Mo couldn't get an answer from her, she texted me. I told her and once we got done with the convo we looked up and Mani was gone... " Ohh shit... Where Mani go?" I thought. "Well damn that's what I was gone ask you..." "Oh oops I thought I said that in my head but come on." We got up and started walking around to find her but couldn't, so we started asking people if they had seen her and they said yeah that she was with Leeashanae. We told them and turns out she was okay after all. "Aye Mani you coo???" "Yeah I just needed to walk around for a bit and ended up wit her," she said. " Oh ok we just wanted to make sure you were okay and weren't having a meltdown or nothing." " Girl I ain't had one of them in ages I am just fine, but tell me why I seen Matt and he spoke to me!" "Oh ok!!! I see you but what did he say?" " He just said I was pretty and asked me for my number," she said like it was nothing. I looked at her and said "GIRL SO DID YOU GIVE IT TO HIM??" "Yeah but I asked him if he had a kik and he said yea but he wanted number cause he wanted to be able to call me and hear my voice or some shit like that. I was just like 'oh ok I guess' and we exchanged numbers," she said. I was happy for her. This type of stuff is somewhat of a norm for her but it don't really phase her. She walk past boys and they be like 'Damn ma, Aye she fine,' or whatever they say when girls that are pretty walk past them. But unlike other girls, Mani just keep walking and don't pay them any mind. Well hopefully this one will turn out good, maybe they will talk for a while and things keep progressing from there. But it's not like we will know now, so we just have to wait and see.

DaMani POV

When we got to school I heard someone call my name. I already knew it was Mo, cause I know that voice oh so well. I grabbed Kas and went and sat wit her. I guess I was looking kinda down but I felt fine. Mo asked me what was wrong I told her nothing and she didn't believe me. We were sitting there for a few and they were both busy on their phones... Probably talking to their boyfriends. So I took it upon myself and got up to go for a walk. When I was walking I seen Leeashanae walking by herself, so I went and started walking with her. While we were walking we kept hearing someone holler 'Excuse me.' I started looking around to see who it was and if they were talking to one of us. And when I turned around, I seen the fine dark skin... What was his name? ... Shit... OH YEAH, Matt. When I turned around he was showing that beautiful smile of his. "You are very beautiful and I couldn't let you walk past me without me saying something," He said still smiling. "Why thank you, you're quite handsome yourself," I said turning around to walk away, when all of a sudden I was being pulled back to him. He let me go and I looked at him and said, "And may I ask what that was for?" "You may and I wanted to know if I could get your number." I looked at him like are you sure but then said, "Do you gotta kik cause Ion really give out my number like that?" "Yeah, but then what if I wanna hear your beautiful voice?" "Then I can send you a video.." "That's too much. Let's just exchange numbers. I promise you I ain't like none of them fu niggas." I held my hand out as I took my phone out to unlock it. He unlocked his phone and then handed it to me. We put our number in each other's phone, said bye, and went about our day. We started walking again and I saw Kas and Mo. They were just trying to find me and check on me. I told them about my encounter wit Matt. They were geeked for me , but I was just like whatever. The bell rang signaling that it was time to go to homeroom. So I said my byes and headed to homeroom. Let's see what classes I got, and who in them.
