Chapter 4: The beginning of wisdom is to fear part 4

Demon lord: " The lowly mongrel is as good as dead with snow by my side. We can settle our matter after we put an end to this lowly mongrel. Snow seems to be very good at adapting to the situation. He adjusts very well in the current situation. We have been disappearing from the lowly mongrel while attacking in intervals while reappearing every now and then. The lowly mongrel is rampaging as we attack it. Each strike we do is precise as these attacks makes the lowly mongrel grow bigger and become stronger. This just grows tiresome. Yet I feel like the snow is fighting at my pace. It seems like he is in a different league compared to my current exo spider form. The lowly mongrel might be able to heal as it takes reduced damage, yet its struggling to stand at the current moment. Every attack we land makes it fall to its knees. How pathetic you are to call yourself a variant off your tribe. Know your place you lowly mongrel. Time to end this pathetic display. "

As the demon lord made himself ready to end the life off the troll once and for all, came forth the snow fiend wolf stepping in front of the demon lord. Not uttering a word the demon lord understood perfectly what the snow fiend wolf meant to do. The troll that was struggling to stand up looked forwards as it saw the snow fiend wolf and the demon lord emerge from nothingness. As the troll stood up the scream. It got ready to charge , however the snow fiend wolf stood over the demon lord.

A/N: Yes Snow is about 2 times the size off the demon lord currently. The demon lord is literally beneath him in. hehehe.

As the troll prepared to charge towards the snow fiend wolf and the demon lord, both off them had just stood still disregarding the troll's very presence. The snow fiend wolf was relaxed as the troll changed forward, he stood there with his eyes closed. Suddenly the snow fiend wolf opened his eyes when the troll reached a certain place. Killing intent came pouring out off the snow fiend wolf's aura. This made the troll stop suddenly in its motion. The fear could be felt throughout the forest as the entire forest went silent when the snow fiend wolf released his killing intent. The demon lord realized the vast difference between the current him and the previous incarnation off himself. As the demon lord saw that the snow fiend wolf was still holding back against him all this time. The troll was to afraid to move as being in the mere presence as the snow fiend wolf was suffocating.

Demon lord: " OH, what is this. The lowly mongrel can still move. Even when its in the presence off a true hunter such as snow. Now, what type off monster are you, you lowly mongrel. Fear has 2 meaning. Face Everything and RUN or Face Everything and RISE. Are you a lowly mongrel or just a mere mongrel. "

As the troll started to move again he ran straight forward while holding his club behind his back. The demon lord gave a devious smirk as he saw the troll run towards himself and the snow fiend wolf instead off running away. As the troll reached both the demon lord and the snow fiend wolf, they stood still. Remaining unfazed as the troll swing its club from behind towards the front. A loud sound erupted at the club was swung onto the snow fiend wolf's head. With all the strength off the troll being strengthened by its passive ability it could not make the snow fiend wolf move a mere inch from his space. The ground around the snow fiend wolf had been raptured and clacked as the blow landed on him. The snow fiend wolf looked upwards to the troll as he gave a howl that send the troll flying in the opposite direction off him. Mere inches from the ground the, the troll was about to collapse with came the snow fiend wolf on top off the troll using his strength he pushed the troll to the ground. As the snow fiend wolf used his strength, he effortlessly pierced through the troll's strengthened body. The shockwave released from the snow fiend wolf's attack completely broke the demon lords webs he set to keep the troll in one place. Once the dust settled from the shockwave came forth a huge crater in the ground.

Demon lord: " That was rather impressive for a lowly mongrel to attack snow head on. Even high level demons fear the snow fiend wolves. You have upgraded from lowly mongrel to a mere mongrel. Congratulations, that is rare to happen. Something must have happened when I disappeared from this world. I don't have to worry about the demon castle as Nabila is currently there. There is no creature on this planet that can take her on. Even if all the previous incarnations off the hero fused to fight her they would utterly die rather easily as even I do not know what is Nabila's true power. I should visit her, no never mind, I am going to scrap that idea. She probably will tell me that I have joined the lowly creatures that I disregard on a daily basis. AHHH, I already forgot that she has the observers eye skill. That allows her to see anything anywhere anytime, even if that thing is in a parallel dimension. It also allows one to read others minds as the mind was their won. That means she already know that I am back and must be laughing miserably at this pathetic display off power from my current form. She has my personality. Is this how the hero felt overwhelmed by my power. How the table have turned. Wherever you are hero I hope you are faring better than me at least. Since when did I have these useless thoughts and emotions. I think being weak has corrupted my spirit. That's it I will become stronger than my former self and cleanse my mind from this corruption. Back to the topic at hand. That ability snow used was not a snow fiend wolf ability. Rather is seemed to resemble the mongrel's ability. Snow suddenly grew in size. I know the troll did not harm you at all, rather I saw blood coming out off your month. Snow must have purposely hurt himself to test this ability. If that is the case then he was able to copy the exact ability of the mongrel. That is no normal ability. Is that the ability a variant snow fiend wolf gets. Now that I think about it, I have never seen a variant snow fiend wolf in all my millennia of existence. There is so much for me to learn about this world since my reborn self is reborn far later than the usual hero imminently reborn state. Now then this huge crater in the ground. What strength you posses snow as a month old snow fiend wolf. It seems that you missed on purpose to keep the mongrel alive. For why? OH, that..... "

As the demon lord observed the snow fiend wolf he went quiet suddenly. The snow fiend wolf put his paw on the troll. On top off both off them came an enchantment of magic. The enchantment went over the troll's body. The demon lord could not contain his laughter as he realized what ability the snow fiend wolf was using.

Demon lord: (Laughing hysterically ) Well, that ability is from the tamer skill line. The one you used is specifically called the emperors command. As when you have an overwhelming difference in power compared to your opponent you can use emperors command to force them under your command. At worst you have to fight your opponent and best them, then you can follow your command without any retaliation. Snow was far superior to the mongrel. Snow did not have humiliate the mongrel like that, however from what I have observed thus far snow seems to test his opponents physically as well as mentally. There you did it again. This time instead off imminently coming behind me yourself you brought the troll as well. You did it earlier when you went to the mongrel. You were next to me and suddenly you were on top of the mongrel. What terrifying speed you have snow. In my current state you clearly best me in every regard except knowledge. To think the book I let go into the human empire called taming the beast could also be learned by monsters to take control off other monsters. What exactly happened for the knowledge to spread to monsters as well. Well it seems that the 5th wolf finally made her appearance on the battle fiend. One red eye while the other is a purple shade. Her fur covering her body as if she is wearing another wolf's fur as a appurtenance. Her fur looks like a smooth and soft fabric with a black tint to it. Not entirely black, however not light either. It is somewhere in-between. As for her tail it is about twice the length off her while having her fur cover her tail as well in the same style as her body. Two pointy ears that have a small flap forward as the fur cover it, giving her a delicate yet strong presence. She is not from any wolf race that I know off. It seems I will just call her a unique anomaly. Healing abilities that work on other races as the tribe. What a rather unique skill set you have. So it was you who buffed me and snow during the fight. A celestial entity it seems. Able to heal and buff any other race as if were your own race. "

As the 5th wolf came to heal the demon lord, he put up his one limbs and shook his head. The 5th wolf tilted her head to the side in confusion and then proceeded to look at the snow fiend wolf in confusion as he also tilted his head to the side. That is when the snow fiend wolf came forward to the demon lord bowing his head downwards.

Demon lord: " You want me to use emperors command 2 initial skill that allows others to go under your command willingly if they wish to. I do not have any demonic magic so I will try it. "

As the demon lord put his limb on the snow fiend wolf's head a magic enchantment came from the sky that enveloped the snow fiend wolf as well as the troll and the 5th wolf.

Demon lord: " This magic. Is that you Nabila. She can access her demonic magic anywhere and from any vessel as she has the emperors title. A title give to one who can conquer the entire universe by simply willing it so. Guess you helped me gain new comrades. Well then this text is something else. So the 5th wolf is called a celestia wolf. "

A/N: Well that chapter was longer as I realized I could have ended the beginning of wisdom is to fear on chapter 3. So this chapter was about the strength off the variant snow fiend wolf. Next chapter I will explain the text that the demon lord saw.
