"Come on Cole! That all you got?" Kai gloated, waving his katana and spinning his body round into a flying kick. Cole dodged easily with a step backwards.
"No... This is!" He yelled, his arms glowing. He slammed his hands down on the concrete floor of the monestary courtyard.
Cracks shot through the ground until it reached Kai's feet a gigantic, jagged rock sending Kai flying into the door.
In case you hadn't figured, the ninja were sparring against each other. The partners were like this:
Kai v Cole
Lloyd v Jay
Nya v Zane
Master Wu was standing with P.I.X.A.L watching them, but he couldn't take his eyes off Lloyd. He was watching him out of the corner of his eye keep freezing, zoning out like he was a million miles away then snapping back to reality to dodge Jay's attacks.
That's when it happened. Quick as a flash, Jay took a big lunge and slashed it sword at Lloyd, expecting him to avoid it. But he had zoned out again.
He screamed,fell to the ground gripping his arm in pain. Blood leaked through the sleeve of his gi.
"OH FUCK! LLOYD!" Kai screamed, running to his side.
Nya knelt down next to him. "Shit, that's not good." She grimaced "Straight sword to the arm."
"Lloyd I'm just gonna remove your hand ok-?" She whispered gently.
She slowly prised his hand away and lifted his sleeve up, which was met with a small yelp from a shaken Lloyd.
Blood dripped down Nya's hand. Crimson red, but weirdly a small hint of gold.
"Is he gonna.. need hospital?" Asked Cole tentatively.
"I don't think so. I'll just patch him up in the Bounty med room."
---About an hour later---
Lloyd returned not in his gi, but in a baggy green t-shirt and shorts in the living room to the relief of the ninja, especially Kai who ran up to him and gave him the biggest hug he could.
"Are you okay? What happened? Why were you not paying attention?"
It was at this point Nya walked in.
"I just gave him some stitches, a bandage and a juice box." She shrugged.
"Guess which one helped most" She said a she rolled her eyes.
Lloyd looked sheepish.
"And remember young nephew, you will need to rest up-"
"I know, I know Nya already gave me a mouthful of it.." he sighed.
Nya spoke up again and everyone turned to look at her. "No training for a while mister." She winked. "But the most important part is you will struggle with basically everything until that heals up."

Originally this was gonna be the epilogue but there was so much to cram in it just became chapter 1.
Re-reading it, did anyone else read their lines in their voices or-? Just me? Ok...
