STANDING UP in the front of the sprinter van, currently only the players inside, Paige rested her hands on the head rests on both of her sides. She held her head high, "We are going to Wingstop because I am the voice of the team today," The guard announced with enough confidence that paled in comparison of some of their older players.

"Paige, sit your lil white ass down," Olivia leaned back in her seat, adjusting her AirPod in her right ear.

"She's right though, Wingstop would hit.." Aubrey tilted her head slightly while looking out the window to the sidewalk. She observed their coach and some of the staff standing outside, seemingly waiting for something as they wouldn't get on the van yet.

Impatiently Paige shifted onto an open seat, staring out the window at her coaches. She narrowed her eyes as they discussed something and paced back and forth for a bit. What exactly was taking so long? He said they would leave already, to so called reward, she didn't trust it completely though.

Geno was tough, his practices were quite ruthless to go through quite often and Paige honestly believed she deserved this. It was odd though that he suddenly lightened up to the idea of rewarding them? For what? She actually had no idea why but he suddenly came out with the idea.

She looked over her shoulder, glancing down at Nika for a moment. "Do you know how random this is? Like he never did this last year." Paige's eyes narrowed slightly, suspiciously watching them once again.

"Maybe he woke up on a good side.." Nika shrugged her shoulders, leaning back with her hands rested over her stomach.

Paige cocked an eyebrow up, "since when?" She replied back and then shook her head repeatedly at the statement. "He don't do that—"

In those moments Milan walked down a few steps leading down to the sidewalk the sprinter van was parked by. Paige watched as the Geno shared a few words with her, he didn't look annoyed though despite waiting there but calm. She came on first, taking a seat in front of all the players 12 of them occupied seats already together as pairs.

The brunette plugged her AirPods in, leaning back in her seat as she continued going away at her phone. She didn't talk or interact with the rest of the group, it made Paige wonder what was even going on. Who the hell is this? Is all she could think every time she caught a glimpse of her.

"Azzi, I'm not trippin' right?" Paige mumbled to the freshman as she leaned back in the seat by her in the back rows. "Like there's something on about her different."

"Coach wanted a good center, maybe that's why he's being nice.." She shrugged her shoulders, "but maybe he's just like that with you,"

"The favoritism is real."
