"SHANNON, what are your thoughts on the controversial decision of Milan Heathers leaving Montana?"

The former football player adjusted in his seat for a moment, glancing down at his written statements. "You know, I can understand why she made the choice to leave, even though she garnered backlash from people who supported her," he began, "In my opinion, if she felt like leaving to a different team would assist in furthering her talent, then that is an understandable prerogative with all the skill and athleticism."

Running his thumb over his knuckles Skip allowed his costar to talk before coming in. "I think some fans were understandably thrilled at the prospect of attaining 6 foot 4 inches center with exceptional shooting ability who was being recruited by LSU and South Carolina." He pointed out while taking a look down at his sheet.

Shannon however raised a valid counter, "But they did have her, did they not?" Shannon questioned.

Tilting his head, Skip considered his assessment, "For a season and she was plagued with a knee injury for three-fourths of it," Skip responded. "Now, as a new school year begins, Milan decides to drop her promise to bring them greatness and now she wants to leave over minor disputes."

Shannon pondered over his concerns for a moment before cutting back, "Well we have no true details yet."

"She made promises, no?" Skip replied with a knowing look, "And did they not work their best with her recovery to get her back on?"

"Oh god, I'm gonna die," a whine escaped the lips of the blonde point guard clutched her abdomen, rolling onto her side over the cold and hard gymnasium floor.

Another teammate of hers, Nika, stepped closer and stood over her, "We started like 15 minutes ago." Her hands rested over her hips while waiting for her to overcome the dramatic fit she decided to commit.

A hiss of pain escaped her lips as she clutched her back and then rolled over to emphasize the pain she was in. "And I'm already over it," she mumbled under her breath before banging her fist down with a sudden force, forcing low cries coming out of her. Her back genuinely was sore but maybe not to the extent she said it was.

Nika nudged her with her foot a little, pressing the toe of her shoes over Paige's shorts but she remained sprawled out. Her dark eyebrows pulled together at the scene her light-hearted teammate created. She shook her head in a playful shame before walking away to leave her alone and get her to find the urge to get up.

However, what she didn't know was that Paige was content just being on the floor, her hands rested upon her stomach that peeked out underneath her black merchandise shirt. She squinted slightly at the bright overhead lights, a warm cast blinding her momentarily before she turned her head. Her eyes scanned the wide room for her coach, wherever he was, it was surprising she hadn't been reprimanded yet.

Geno usually would have said something but he was missing from her clear view of everyone in the gymnasium. One of the doors came to suddenly open, Geno, walked through but also being followed by a new face. A comparatively tall player with a striking resemblance to a player from Montana following behind him. Her back straight after she sat up, a chill running down her spine as she squinted her eyes slightly.

Her eyes were low, a noticeably fatigued look in them, pairing with her overall low demeanor. Her hands combed through her hair, pulling back her straightened hair into a bun as Geno spoke to her about a conversation Paige was too far away to hear.

"We're going to have you start with a trainer today, wear off the jet lag and rust you've got." Was what Geno was explaining to Milan as she crossed her arms below her chest, nodding her head accordingly. "It will be an easy day to start for now and to the end join the rest of the girls."

For a moment they made eye contact, a welcoming smile coming on her face, but she was met with no response other than a cold look.

It took her aback a bit, she was usually met with an overwhelming reception from people due to her just charming personality. Her lips parted slightly, staggered at the brief moment of interaction. The blonde finally got off the floor, dusting her pants off as she walked over to the rest of her teammates.

They were going over workout drills that they were instructed to carry out and being observed by the assistant coaches. She glanced over her shoulder, watching Milan walk alongside one of the trainers before looking back down at her teammates. "I didn't know she signed here, nobody told me anything." She exclaimed to her close teammates while joining their lap.

"Did you not see it yesterday?" Aaliyah questioned her while pushing past her.

"No, nobody she was going to be a student here now," Paige shook her head. "I don't know, I look at her and I'm like damn she's fine as hell but that Montana tea was crazy.."

The young freshman, Azzi, increased her speed to match up to the conversation. "Montana tea?"

"Yeah, hold on."
