C1. Nearly Dead!

Protein S. Deficiency, People with this condition have an increased risk of developing abnormal blood clots. Individuals with mild protein S deficiency are at risk of a type of clot called a deep vein thrombosis (DVT) that occurs in the deep veins of the arms or legs.
This and most sports are not good friends. I was in the middle of a tennis match, I was winning by one point and then BAM! It hit me. My Calf was on fire, it was swollen so bad and I felt like I was going to throw up... And then I did. After that my coach drove me to the hospital because my step mom doesn't give a shit about me. "Just a couple more blocks ok?" Coach Morris asked.
"Ok, no rush..."
"How can you say that?" She asked, "Obviously there is a rush! Your Protein S. Is acting up!"
"I know, it's just that I don't really care that much anymore to be honest."
"Do you need me to smack some sense into you girl?! Your a great kid and if your mo... Step. mother, doesn't care about you then she doesn't deserve you!" She exclaimed. "We're here now, let me help you get out."
I limped to the emergency room denying any help from coach. I was checked in they called my name right away. They did a bunch of tests while coach waited in the waiting room. The rest is a different story. Long story short, if I had waited any longer I could have died, I had to stay in the hospital for a couple days. My step Mom came to drop some of my crap off because she was actually sober for once, I have to start wearing compression socks... Blah blah Blah. more bad news. Great.
