The night was dark and dusty. Cracks grew deeper along the Isle. More and more wildlife died along with plants. And to think all of this started when I was born. Shops were set up along the coast of the Isle. And all I heard them say were: sixty dollars down, this is your last chance, protect yourself from the rulers. All of this because of me...

I continued to walk to the Hall of Thrones. It sat on its aisle away from the mainland. The king's guards block the emerald doors. The guards wore green suits with glowing green swords. Hand golden helmets over their heads. There was no way I could sneak past.

As I approached the door I was stopped by the head fraud. " Stop, Miss! You must approach. No civilians are allowed." He demanded.
" I'm not a civilian. I'm ruler Corsette, and you will not stop me from entering. Now move out of my way." I demanded back with a hint of disgust.
" Yes, Queen Corsette." He bowed down to me. My stomach turned.  I hated the way they bowed down to me. I hated how they called me Queen, and I've done nothing to save them. I've only been locked away in a palace my whole life.

I walked past them, placed my head on the head guard's back, and patted it. "That's unnecessary, do not bow to me." I walked ahead and saw Skey waiting for me in the dining Hall.  Skey rushed over to me, with books and pages in her hands.

"Corsette, I might have found the answer." She swept me over my feet and hugged me. "Maybe you will not be powerless for long, my friend."

"Wonderful news Skey! I have to hurry when the games start."

" I know I know, but we have the answers." Skye jumped with joy

" Yes, but how will I fight them? Without my powers, I have nothing against them."

" Here use your sister portal during attacks."  She handed me my sister's portal bloc. It was white and turned invisible when activated. However, this couldn't last for long.

"Thank you, Skey,"  I said as she handed me the books and pages. We couldn't go over our plans here, but nothing was said about my chambers. Once word was out everyone would know, and I would be killed and my Isle would be the one to die.

I walked out and headed for the games. Skey and I couldn't be seen together. We were rivals, and were supposed to destroy each other, but how could I destroy my best friend? She had saved me from my gloomy palace. Even convinced my master that she'd train me while keeping me safe at the games. However, she couldn't. I was always with Atlas and she couldn't come in between. He and I had our things going on.
Skey had more abilities than I did. She did everything to get my power back, yet I'm still powerless waiting for a shooting star. But I wouldn't be able to find that, not on this aisle at least.

Now let the games begin!
