It has been a month since their first date, and since then, Clark and Bruce have been going out on dates every chance they get. Diana was still on Bruce's case about the fact that he was still a virgin, and he had started avoiding her, only hanging out with Hal, Author, and Barry.

Tonight, Barry was having a small get-together at his place and had invited Bruce. Bruce was hesitant to go since there was a big chance Diana might be there as well. Sighing, he spun his chair around to look over out his office window down at the city below him.

His office door opened silently and he looked at the reflection to see Clark trying to sneak up on him, rolling his eyes. He waited until Clark was directly behind the chair before spinning around to face him, he grabbed Clark's arm and pulled him down onto his lap.

"Trying to scare me?" Bruce asked, raising a brow, and Clark huffed. "How is the job new position?" the raven-haired male asked, and Clark sat up properly, leaning against Bruce.

Bruce had found out that Perry and one of the accountants had been the ones stealing money from his publishing company, he had immediately fired them both and had them arrested. He had then gone over all the employee records trying to find the one to replace Perry. He had found that Clark and Lois Lane were the two best employees for the position. He had almost given the position to Lois until he saw her flirting with Clark.

"It's a lot; I'm getting the hang of it, though," Clark mumbled, wrapping his arms around Bruce and burying his face in his neck. "Are you ready to head out?" He asked. Bruce nodded quickly, turning off his computer. He gently pushed Clark from his lap and stood.

"Let's go," He said, taking the other man's hand and leading him to his private elevator. They got to the car and Bruce opened the door for Clark before getting in as well. He pulled out of the parking garage and started heading toward his manor. He was a bit nervous, though; this was the first time Clark was going to the manor. "My friend Barry is having a small party at his house tonight. Would you like to come?" he asked as he sped out of the city.

"What time?" Clark asked, yawning.

"Around seven," Bruce said as he pulled into the driveway and turned to examine Clark, "But you don't have to come; you can stay home and rest," He said, climbing out of the car and going around it to help a sleepy Clark out.

"No, I want to meet your friends," Clark mumbled as they went into the house and uptown Bruce's bedroom.

Clark pulled off his clothes down to his boxers and fell on the bed pulling the covers over himself.
