how do you say you still feel like we are together
that the only thing thats changed is a title
that you miss me,
and more than anything want to be held by me
but act the opposite.

you know just what to say to me to make sure i dont leave,
you know i cant.
especially not when you still call me angel and say you miss and love me,
you know thats not how i am.

you say you dont feel like youre single,
but you sure do act like you are.
if you still felt like we were together
you'd make time for me.
you'd tell me youre gonna be busy
or at least a little bit of anything,
but no.
i get short and dry responses
then get in trouble when i dont respond.

i dont know what you want,
i dont know what more i can do
i dont know how much more i can take.
