that we are so susceptible to: 'tis a fear
we all try to avoid ever feeling. to leave,
to walk away; the chance to reconnect with someone;

we begin to ask ourselves - the restless nights,
possible heartbreak, weird looks and comments:
do all of these outweigh the feeling
of unconditional lasting true love?
thus conscious does make cowards of us all
