On the first day of school, teenagers were returning to their studies, and a particularly intimidating new student was the talk of the town. Everything was going well. They claim he appeared unsettling and could be a bully; both new and returning students have stated that they were unaware that the teachers were aware of this.

The day continued as he ate a sandwich in the shade outside the school during lunchtime, bored, until he heard a loud smack close to the gate. He quickly got up, finished his meal, and headed to the scene.

He saw a woman on the ground with a bright red cheek, and after assessing the situation, one of the students slapped her. Words cannot describe what happened. He blocked their path as he started to approach them, and one of the compadres noticed and warned the others. He explained why she did it to her and that she initiated it with the person who slapped her.

It was all bullshit. With enough force to keep her from fainting, the boy gave her a slight punch to the cheek. She toppled over, casting a chilly, murderous look at the "friends" in case they ever hurt her again. After hearing the girl sob, the friends helped her get up and go inside the school.

The student walked toward the slapped girl and reached out his hand, but she smacked it away. He was confused and showed signs of hostile behavior, with a bit of happiness.

He looked at her situation and saw that she was in need of assistance.

She started crying and stressed out to the point she almost banged her head onto the concrete floor, but the student knocked her out in time, falling yet catching her, carrying her to the nurse's office, and staying by her side. Without realizing it, somewhere inside the school building, two people were watching three floors above at the center of the school, beginning to talk to each other.

"Mr. Principal," an attractive man wearing glasses and a suit, and with hair that would make girls swoon, was waiting for the principal to respond.

"I know. We can only assist Erwin in the shadows. Let him handle this." He went back to his seat with the assistant preparing the documents for the transfer student.

Erwin was waiting for her to wake up at the nurse's office when he noticed that she appeared to be a transfer student because Erwin's school is a public school, but her clothes appeared to be from a private institution.

With a groan, the girl awoke and sat up straight. Looking around, she seemed to not notice Erwin but spoke to herself, "Where am I-"

"You're at the nurse's office," a soothing voice replied to her.

She immediately looked where the voice came from, and he was on the right side of the bed. She was in a daze and replied, "You're the person who-"

"Thank me later; answer first. Why did they bully you?"

"Bully? What do you-"

Erwin cut her off due to the signs of distress and dishonesty in her body language. "Don't even test me with your lies. Tell me honestly." The soothing voice disappeared with a tone of seriousness.

Intimidating yet caring, the girl cried softly and began to tell her the short story.

She could not make it to her new school due to her parents and her disorder, so she came late. Upon arriving at the gate, some students were chatting, and her parents forcefully kicked her out of the car and yelled for her to get moving. The parents headed their merry way, leaving their daughter with increased energy and unable to control her emotions properly.

She walked toward the gate, and the students who saw what happened made fun of her and started to slightly tease her until they went too far because she was acting weird. Without consideration, the girl slapped her hard, and that's when he showed up, ending the story.

"Huh...? Why are you suddenly crying?"

Despite his scary appearance, he is a kind and compassionate person. He dried his small tears and felt happy that he had helped someone once more.

"My name is Erwin, Erwin Franscis. What about you?"

"Crystal Rosario."

"Crystal, I would like to know you better. Would it be possible for me to be your first friend?" Erwin asked.

She smiled honestly for the first time in her life, replying, "Sure!"

Erwin reaches out his hand to Crystal once more, and she hesitates to shake hands. She began to overthink and started to get stressed again. Erwin, who has read multiple medical books, knows what kind it is, and it's bipolar disorder.

He gave her a hug because he could no longer bear to see her suffer. With a gentle and soothing voice, he said, "Relax, I am here to help; there is nothing to worry about; trust me, I will be there, and everything will work out." His soothing voice once again calmed Crystal down.

"Thank you, Erwin..." Crystal hugged back, slowly beginning to cry.

Crystal was finally in school and introduced to Erwin's class. His seat was on the far left, and she wanted to sit next to him, but her seat was in front. Erwin, who was looking outside the window, saw the reflection of Crystal, turned his head slightly, and waved at her.

She was a little depressed, but she has to learn to control her feelings so she does not come across as a whiny baby. The principal informed the other teachers in advance that Crystal suffers from bipolar disorder, and the homeroom teacher was aware of this fact already and told the principal of the school about it. After homeroom, she told him about it and began to check Crystal's documents as she exited the principal's room.

After doing general research and thoroughly checking the documents, he saw something weird about Crystal's past and called his assistant.

"Code 1."

"Yes, Sir."

"Hack them."

He grinned, replying, "I was already waiting for you to say that."

The assistant headed to another room as the principal began to put the pieces together. With past trauma and past conflicts to the point of a severe mental breakdown, let alone without the money for a checkup, he sighed and looked out the window.

"It's only a matter of time before karma gets them."

He grabbed his coffee from his desk, took a sip, put it back, and headed back to work.
