As Y/N and her brothers made their way home, they were interrupted by the sound of someone calling out Y/N's name. They turned around to see Chloe jogging towards them, her usual confident stride replaced with a hint of uncertainty.

"Y/N, wait up!" Chloe called out, catching her breath as she reached them. "I wanted to talk to you."

Y/N and her brothers exchanged curious glances before Y/N responded, "Sure, Chloe. What's on your mind?"

Chloe took a moment to gather her thoughts before speaking. "I just wanted to say... thank you. Thank you for standing up for me in class today. It meant a lot."

Y/N smiled warmly at Chloe, appreciating her sincerity. "You're welcome, Chloe. I believe in giving everyone a fair chance, and I saw that you were genuinely contributing to the project."

Chloe nodded, a grateful expression on her face. "I know I haven't always been the easiest person to get along with, but I'm trying to change. Your actions today reminded me that there are people who see beyond my reputation."

Aaron and Cade, who had been observing the exchange, chimed in. "It takes courage to admit that and make a change," Aaron said.
