Taeyung's POV:- 

I woke up with the sound of my phone, flashing the name of Hyung. I immediately picked it up without wasting a second. 

"Hello?" 

"Yes, Hyung. Did Grandma awake?"

"Ah, yes. That's why I called you. Grandma is now conscious and wants to talk to you."

"Alright, I-I'll be there soon." 

I cut the call and changed my clothes to go. I didn't know when I got to sleep. I got to my car and left for the hospital. I didn't take much time to get there. I almost ran towards Grandma's room, and when I saw Grandma smiling, I felt so happy.

"Grandma," I call her. She turned her gaze to me and beams a smile at me.

"You came." She said weakly. 

"Grandma, how are you feeling? Why did you lie before that you're fine? Do you know I got terrified?" I said while sobbing. 

"Why didn't you tell me earlier, I would have come soon and taken care of you. You always ask me to come for marriage. You even forced me for that, so why didn't you tell me about yourself that you're not well?" I continued.

"Taehyunga, I am fine now stop crying. And I didn't tell you because you will get worried, which you got. And in these three years, you didn't visit me at once due to work and I know how much pressure you have there, so I didn't tell you.

And for your marriage, it's my dream to see you get married. And I did not want you to come here under pressure, that is why I called you after having a reason. And I knew that if I had told you about my condition, you would have left everything and come without even thinking twice.

And I couldn't let this happen, son."

My heart dropped at her words. And now that I see it, I understand how selfish I was. I did not think about anyone in these three years to avoid being tied to a relationship. I always felt bad for Jungkook. He was the only one who came to meet me, and I couldn't come. At that time, I forgot that my grandmother was also waiting for me. She must have missed me a lot even though we talked on the call.

"I-I am s-sorry Grandma, I am so sorry," I said while stuttering. "I-I got so busy in my world that I couldn't come to meet you, and sorry that I made you think that if you ask me to visit you, you'll disturb me.

It's not like that, Grandma. Please forgive me this time. I will never leave you for this long ever again." I kept my head in her lap and sobbed. I feel her hand on my head, gently brushing my hair with her fingers.

"Taehyunga, you never made me feel something like that. It's me who doesn't want to stress you out. See, you're crying this much when you're already here and when you could take care of me. Then what will happen to you if I let you know about my condition when you were there?"

I raised my head and looked at her with tearful eyes. "But still, I am ashamed of my mistake. Forgive me." I said, holding her hand tightly with gentleness.

"You. Did. Not. Do. Any. Mistake, do you get that? And if you are feeling so bad then, accept one wish me, and for that, you will have to make a promise that whatever I wish for, you will not refuse me." 

Grandma said with a smile on her face, and if by fulfilling one of her wishes, this smile remains on her face, then I am willing to sacrifice my life too. 

"I-I will do it. Whatever it is, I am ready to do it. I promise you. Just tell me already, Grandma." I replied in a hurry.

"Calm down, Taehunga. Are you sure you'll be okay to do whatever I ask?" She asks hesitantly. I nod before answering.

"Whatever it is, you just give me orders. No matter what happens, I am ready to do everything." She nods while thinking. A long sigh left her mouth before she started speaking again.

"THEN GET MARRIED WITH THE GIRL I CHOSE FOR YOU." My eyes grew wide at her words, but why? I am the one who insisted on her, to tell me whatever it is, and now how can I... I doomed myself. 

And I can't even deny her now. I already promised her. My hands started getting sweaty, and many kinds of thoughts started arising in my mind. The same name started repeating in my mind a thousand times, 'Jungkook'.

"You promise me, you can't say no now." She said while giggling. I smiled back at her and scoffed a little so only I could see. 

"Alright, I WILL MARRY WITH THE GIRL YOU WANT." She instantly pulled me into a hug and squealed loudly, almost screaming.

"You made me so happy with your decision, Taehyunga. You don't know how happy I am." She said after pulling us out of the hug and then hugging me again.

Mom and Hyung came to me, hugged me one after another, and congratulated me. 

"I'm proud of you, my son," Mom said before kissing my temple.

"You make the right choice, my brother. You grew up." Hyung said and patted my shoulders. 

"Let me share this good news with your Dad," Mom said before sliding up her phone from her bag, but I stopped her before she could make a call to Dad. 

"Stop! Let me make one thing clear before you share this news with anyone." I paused, giving some time to everyone to focus on me.

"Although I have agreed to get married, I will not get married for now. I still need some time, maybe a few months. So that I can complete all my important work. (Like confronting Jungkook after agreeing to this marriage.)" I muttered the last sentence in my mind. 

I hear a sigh from my right. It was Grandma. "But Taehyunga, we Already delayed this marriage a lot. I have talked about the marriage of both of you for more than three years now." 

She said, stressing the word 'already'. Her tone sounded remorseful as if she felt guilty for delaying the marriage. But it's not her who's delaying it, It's me.

"Well, I know I have been postponing this marriage for a long time, but this time, I don't need much time. I just need a few months, and then I will get married. And if she has any objection to this, then I can get engaged with that girl right now."

"Alright then, I'll talk with them about this," Grandma replied with a smile. 

"I am going to the office, Dad needs me there. Call me if you need me anything." Namjoon Hyung said before leaving. I sighed heavily before going to the couch that was placed in the corner of the room near the window. 

I plopped on the couch and closed my eyes, and pinched the bridge of my nose. What did I get myself into? How will I tell Jungkook about it? I remember I forgot to call him again. I took a deep breath before sliding up my phone to call him.
