Third Person POV
The boys got to the studio and hopped out, Jeongin trudging behind. He wanted to be back at home, writing so he could finish his next book in the series he’s writing. There’s a plan to have six books, he has four out already. He was a quarter of the way through the fifth one, with about a month and a half to the deadline. He’d purposefully made the release date be on Hyunjin’s birthday, as he was aware of the boy’s love for his books.
“Jeongin? You alive?” BangChan asked. “You’ve been staring at that wall for a long time now. Besides, it’s your turn to record.”
“Oh, right, sorry.” Jeongin stepped into the recording room, putting on the headphones and reading over what his lines were. He started to sing them, getting lost in the moment.
Once he finished his lines, he put the headphones down and walked out. He started thinking about the fact that his birthday was tomorrow, maybe he could wall up in his room and write all day. Oh who am I kidding, we probably have work to do. I’d also have to do my birthday live, if the other boys even care that it’s my birthday.
They finally finished recording their lines for MEGAVERSE, a song that Jeongin really loved. He was tempted to write a book on it, but he wasn’t sure how the others would react. He knows that they all read his books, considering he’s Hyunjin’s favorite author. They don’t know that he’s the one behind those books though. Whenever he’s asked if he’s read the newest book, he just replies with, “Yeah, it’s really good.” Even though he didn’t think that highly of his work, he couldn’t risk his secret getting out.
“Jeongin? We’re home. Are you sure you’re okay? You seem really off today. You keep staring into space.” BangChan looked at Jeongin, a concerned look on his face.
“Oh, yeah I’m fine. Sorry, didn’t realize we’re home.” Jeongin replied, getting out of the car.
Chan watched Jeongin walk by, before turning to the others. “I’m not the only one who’s noticed him acting really odd right? Or is it just me?” He questioned, studying each of them.
“Yeah no it’s not just you. I’ve noticed it too. Maybe he’s just stressed out?” Felix suggested, watching the boy as he fiddled with his keys to open the door.
“Doubtful, Jeongin’s never stressed out. I’ve seen him stressed maybe once in the time I’ve known him.” Seungmin spoke up.
“Just because he usually isn’t doesn’t mean he’s not. It’s been a while since our last comeback, so it makes sense why he’d be stressed.” BangChan returned.
“If you’re so worried about him, why not just ask? You’ve managed to get even LeeKnow to open up to you, so if anyone can figure it out it’s you.” Hyunjin studied Chan.
“I guess that would make sense. I’ll talk to him tonight, I’ll let you guys know what I find out.” He nodded, turning to follow Jeongin into the dorm.
So sorry about the long wait! Writer's block sucks.
