Chapter 55

Alessandro

"Well, I'll leave you two lovebirds to it," I let out with a smirk, my eyes locked onto Lola's. I sent her a playful wink, silently daring her to resist me. "Don't have too much fun without me."

Without another word, I turned on my heel, feeling the needy women I'd brought home from the club follow closely behind me like two obedient puppies. As we walked away from the living room, I couldn't help but glance back to see how the lovebirds were reacting to my departure.

The tension was thick in the air, and Cristiano was clearly annoyed with my presence. His sudden shift in demeanor had told me that I had ruined the moment between him and his little submissive.

If you could call her that.

Once we were out of earshot, I let out a low chuckle, enjoying the way the two women giggled at my every word. They were clearly smitten with me, and who could blame them? I was charming, confident, and knew exactly how to please a woman.

But as the three of us arrived back at my front door, my thoughts drifted to Lola. The way she had looked at me earlier, her eyes heavy with disgust, and believe it or not it had left a lasting impression on me. I loved how much she hated me. I couldn't get her out of my head, no matter how hard I tried, especially not after she let me taste her.

"What the hell, Alessandro," the bottled blonde looked up at me with confusion as I opened the door.

With a dismissive wave of my hand, I signaled for the two women to leave. "You can go now," I said, my voice laced with boredom. "There's an Uber waiting by the curb. I've got more important things to do."

They looked at me with shock and disbelief. One of them even had the audacity to call me an "asshole." I simply shrugged and replied, "Oh, trust me, baby. I've been called much worse." Their expressions were priceless, and I couldn't resist the urge to taunt them a little further. "But don't worry," I added with a wink. "I'm sure you'll find someone else to play with...just not me."

With that, I slammed the door in their faces, relishing in the sound of their stunned silence.

Normally, I would have taken these two women to my bed without a second thought, but lately, things have been different. My mind stayed consumed with thoughts of Lola. The way her skin felt beneath my fingertips, the softness of her lips against mine, and the way she looked at me with those big blue eyes.

As I made my way back down to my room, I couldn't shake the feeling that I had somehow thrown a permanent wrench in things between Lola and my brother. Not that I cared, of course. But it was amusing to watch the little submissive squirm under my gaze.

Despite my earlier apprehension about her motives, there was something about Lola Mariano. I knew that I had to have her.

No matter what it took.

That nagging realization was unexpected, but not unwelcome. There was something about the way she responded to me that left me feeling powerless and wanting more. And I was going to get more.
