it's been days since takemichi recovered from his flu and things went back to how they were before, but kisaki wanted to talk to takemichi more and catch up. kisaki was in the kitchen with takemichi, watching him make food: "...𝐰𝐡𝐲 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚𝐭 𝐦𝐞?" asked takemichi. kisaki blushed at the question: "𝐧-𝐧𝐨𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠..." he replied shyly, "𝐝𝐨𝐞𝐬𝐧'𝐭 𝐬𝐞𝐞𝐦 𝐨𝐫 𝐬𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝 𝐥𝐢𝐤𝐞 𝐧𝐨𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠..." takemichi said.
there was an awkward silence between the two but kisaki decided to speak up: "...𝐲'𝐤𝐧𝐨𝐰 𝐢𝐭'𝐬 𝐛𝐞𝐞𝐧 𝐬𝐨 𝐥𝐨𝐧𝐞𝐧𝐥𝐲 𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐦𝐨𝐦 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐝𝐚𝐝 𝐥𝐞𝐟𝐭, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐰𝐡𝐞𝐧 𝐲𝐨𝐮.... 𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐞𝐝...𝐢𝐠𝐧𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐦𝐞." takemichi kept quiet for a good second before speaking up: "𝐝𝐨𝐧'𝐭 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐡𝐚𝐯𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐲 𝐟𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐬?"

"𝐢 𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐧 𝐣𝐨𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐝 𝐚 𝐠𝐚𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐨 𝐤𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐦𝐲 𝐛𝐨𝐫𝐞𝐝𝐨-" "𝐚 𝐠𝐚𝐧𝐠?!" takemichi said in a shocked and concerned tone but he then cleared his throat and pushed his concern away.
"𝐲𝐞𝐚𝐡...𝐢 𝐦𝐞𝐭 𝐩𝐞𝐨𝐩𝐥𝐞 𝐰𝐡𝐨 𝐢 𝐠𝐮𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐢 𝐜𝐨𝐮𝐥𝐝 𝐜𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐟𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐬...𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐧𝐚𝐦𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐠𝐚𝐧𝐠 𝐢𝐬 𝐜𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐝 𝐭𝐨𝐦𝐚𝐧 𝐛𝐲 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐰𝐚𝐲." when kisaki mentioned the name toman, takemichi couldn't help but feel like the name sounded familiar. he knows he heard it somewhere but he just doesn't know where or who he heard it from. "𝐢 𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐧 𝐦𝐞𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐭𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐠𝐮𝐲 𝐧𝐚𝐦𝐞𝐝 𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐦𝐚, 𝐭𝐡𝐨 𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲𝐨𝐧𝐞 𝐜𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐬 𝐡𝐢𝐦 𝐳𝐨𝐦𝐛𝐢𝐞." takemichi was about to ask why but kisaki cut him off.

"𝐚 𝐠𝐢𝐫𝐥?" takemichi asked; "𝐲𝐞𝐚𝐡, 𝐡𝐞𝐫 𝐧𝐚𝐦𝐞 𝐢𝐬 𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐚 𝐭𝐚𝐜𝐡𝐢𝐛𝐚𝐧𝐚. 𝐬𝐡𝐞'𝐬 𝐦𝐲 𝟐𝐧𝐝 𝐟𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐝 𝐚𝐟𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐦𝐚." takemichi had finally finished making his lunch and started eating. he listened to kisaki ramble about the girl he likes called hinata.
