I stop by Liam's house and grab some of his sweatshirts. He has tons of them in a large array of colors. I grab a purple one, sky blue one, and orange one.
He also packs me a bag with canned tuna, many bags of chips, water bottles, and a couple cookies.
"So, where are you going, anyways?"
He asks."I have a mission. That dream made it loud and clear. I have to go meet my true love." I look up at him and stare deep in his beautiful eyes.
"I thought... what? You're not allowed to travel." He's obviously not Einstein.
"Oi! Liam, don't you get it?? That's why I'm leaving. This world needs to change, and I'm going to be the one to change it. Us women can't just sit here waiting for our men to come get us. We have to work for what we want, and that's what I'm gonna do.
"From the amount of glow coming from my ring, I know he's probably in a close town. Maybe 10-15 miles away from here."
Liam still looks clueless, as always.
I give him a soft look. "Liam, I'm going to find love myself. I won't be back for at least a week."
"Let me come with you!" Liam spits the words out so fast, they almost go through the thin, plastered wall behind me.
"Liam... ugh. Fine! Fine fine fine. Fine. You can come. Pack a bag." I nod over to his closet.
"Yes! Thanks." He heads over to the closet and packs a bag.
"Yeah..." I love down at my ring. "I hope this is what that dream was telling me."
"What was your dream exactly?" Liam asks as he zips up the large backpack.
"It's... nothing. Just... nothing." I look away with tears in my eyes. My heart and my mind both know what that dream meant, but I have to do this to get away from what it meant. What it meant would kill the system. The unraveling of the system would absolutely shatter everything.
My dream had a meaning and I know what that meaning was, it's clear as day, but it's not meant to be. It's impossible. It's... no longer important when as we walk out the door and turn left, my ring glows slightly brighter.

Liam and I walk out of the boarder of the town about 45 minutes later, and my ring is already growing even more.
"Lyd, I'm starting to thing even more that you're crazy. We're out here and the sun is setting soon. We have no weapons for defense, and no source of light!"
"Chill a little, won't ya? I have matches, and there are no wild animals within thirty-effing-miles of a town. Promise." I grab the match box and a candle out of my backpack and light it.
I realize Liam is still freaked out, so I grab his hand with my empty left hand. He looks at me and I give another look indicating to look forward and walk. He smiles and goes on.
This has nothing to do with the dream, by the way.
