God. Talking to the family of loved ones will NEVER get easier, Hotch thought to himself with a sigh. The team had just closed a case, but unfortunately, they didn't do it in time to save the women of a close-knit neighborhood. He and Rossi had been the ones to tell the families.
"Go home and get some rest, everyone," Hotch says to the team upon re-entering the BAU. Hotch goes into the bullpen and is startled to see someone in his office. A female who is too covered by the filing cabinet in front of the window for him to know who it really is. He looks at the clock across the room which reads 9:32 pm. With a deep breath, he gets ready to put his FBI face back on- even though he was desperately waiting to just be a dad with Jack at home, but as always... that would have to wait.
"Hi, I'm sorry, but right now isn't really a good-" he stops suddenly and readjusts his posture. "Agent Wilkins."
"Hello again, Aaron," says the woman across from him with a warm smile. Her- what he knew was long- brown hair was pulled back into a slick bun. He knew that hair well. It had been wrapped around his wrist at least a handful of times right after he and Haley had declared they would officially be separated, but then a job overseas left whatever they were in the dust. She was an agent of the FBI too, so he knew it was all part of the job. It had been so long and he was so tired from the case they just closed that he couldn't help it when some parts of him decided to be a little more awake than others. And it did not help when she swished her hips over to him and put her arms around his neck. She never meant to be seductive with her walk, but goddamn those hips. She didn't even know how beautiful she really was. He immediately put down his Go-Bag onto the couch next to them.
"Oh, Aaron. I was so sorry to hear about Haley. I was unable to contact anyone directly so I couldn't say anything but-"
"It's okay, Elaina," he says, breathing in her scent deeply.
She pulls away, but only so she can see his face. Her big green eyes are looking up fully at him and her arms are definitely still around his neck, but thankfully the team has headed home for the night or else there would be way too many questions, and this would definitely not be something considered appropriate for the unit chief to be acting in the open.
He's looking down at her with that small smile that looks almost mischievous and makes his eyes sparkle. "I hope you've been well."
She steps back with an embarrassed smile, tucking her hair behind her ear as she does so.
"It was intense, and there were some pretty fun parts. A lot of it I can't talk about though, unfortunately," says Elaina with a sideways smile.
"Ah, I hate when that's the case," Aaron says sympathetically.
He leans against his desk and watches as she takes a seat in front of him. His eyes flick over to the open door and he swears he can see the hint of a smirk on Elaina's face.
Aaron takes off the suit jacket he'd been wearing and walked over to the door to close it shut. Next would be the blinds.
"So what brings you to town, El?"
She looks at him through the corner of her eye without moving her head.
"Business. But it's already been concluded. Just thought I'd pop in for a few days and see how my... old friend and his new team have been doing."
"Is that so?" He says, with a slight smile as he returns to the point of the room in which he towers over her smaller figure. Hotch begins rolling up his sleeves- just to the elbows.
"Yes, Aaron," she says with a slight edge in her voice, indicating a little grin coming into play. "A lot of time has passed and a lot has happened."
"A lot happened a while ago. I'm trying to move on now," he declares quietly.
"Hmm" she hums, intrigued.
They looked at each other for a few moments. The sexual tension thick in their stares. Aaron finally leans forward and says, "Why did you really come here, Elaina?" He whispers. "And why did you come at this time of night?" He adds with a quick flick of the eyes towards her lips, which part at the acknowledgment.
She takes in a sharp breath from the feel of his on her ear. With both of his hands on either side of her chair, Hotch's hardness was left unveiled and she held back a slight moan at the sight. However, she didn't suppress it hard enough because Hotch's right arm went to cup behind her neck and the left undid his belt in record timing. Hotch's brown eyes were stuck on her green hues.
The corner of her lips flicked into a small, sideways, feline grin as she leaned forward, yanked his pants down and said, "you know why."
At that, Hotch lifted her from the chair one second, and the next they were on the other side of the desk; her torso now bent over it. He pulled at the ponytail holding her bun together and said through gritted teeth right by her ear: "What's this, Wilkins? You know I prefer your hair to be easily pulled."
"Like, I said: I was here on business" she replied with a deep chuckle.
"Hmph."
Hotch began kissing her ear, behind the ear, down her neck and back, and finally pulled her clothes to where she was fully presented to him.
He stared at her gloriously for a second.
"Come on, Aaron," Elaina cooed. "I-"
He was in her before she could even beg.
