hey yall what's up.

ok wattpad is broken on this chapter for some weird reason and like won't let me center the text so just bare with me with how fucking ugly this looks.

as i said in my previous chapter if you read it, yes there's a 5th ish book but it's not relating to the storyline itself, it's just one shots of miles and lexie, some are cannon some are not.

meaning, some of these things happened in between timelines of chapters or these things were removed, i'll say if it's cannon or not because my stories have changed a lot from what i originally planned.

i'll reveal some things that changed since book 4 is coming to an end and you guys have been so loyal to me since the first book with all my hitaus' that i took, which is insane :,)

also these are just my own thoughts as the creator of the book series.

number one:
violetta as a character.

violettas character arc was completely diff than what was originally planned, she was supposed to be the villain of book 4, she was going to be incredibly manipulative and be the one pulling the strings the entire time. everything you originally heard from her was a lie, she was just as involved with her parents and their work.

obviously, this changed. do i regret it now looking back? sort of.

violetta would've been a compelling villain and i think it would've been crazy if you found out that she was originally the one who was just lying and manipulating everyone the entire time, however, i do like what i did with her character.

i like how with her character, you don't know how to feel about her, yes she's at the center of everything and everything is caused by her, but you can't really be mad at her for it because none of it is actually her fault — i like that i took that route because i think it added a lot of emotional depth to the story rather than some bold faced plot twist for shock value.

also she had an honorable death, kutos to her tbh.

number two:
the villains of each book.

if you haven't noticed by now, each book has its own villain, now bare with me because i have a hard time reading hells awakening, purgatory, and vile because i cringe like a mf while reading them.

i can't even get passed the first three sentences of hells awakening without turning off my phone and wanting to throw myself into a pit of acid, the other two are little more bareable but i physically tense at what i wrote.

so correct me if im wrong (bc i probably will be from my lack of memory)

book one has a villain of quint and what's his face bruh rob? rob is also a villian of book two — in book three however, the villians are people you dont know, which is interesting ish.

however book four, who are the villains?

obvious answer is violettas dad, and that's true but...

the real villains of book four are lexie and miles.

not from a threatening standpoint but with how low to rock bottom they reach, i like this route that i took because you guys have read so much content of them and have grown incredibly close to them in a sense of characters, so to make them both, darker, more sinister, especially miles, was a really cool route that im glad i took.

i like the trust issues you're facing with miles in book four, i think its rlly compelling to read and it makes you wonder if it was a lie all along.

number three:

my least favorite book written was vile.

ok, hells awakening is stupid painful and cringe so i don't even count it on this roster. but out of books 2, 3 and 4. 3 was the weakest in my opinion, i feel like it's incredibly dragged out and if i could go back and beat myself over the head to pick up the pace i wish i could.

also i hate how lexie kinda vanishes in the book like she doesn't exist anymore. the way i intended it to be wrote was you're trying to find her and everyone wants to, however, i missed that whole point and it just feels like no one really cares that she's gone — 100% my fault for writing it that way.

also, vile, hence the name, was supposed to be much much darker, it was supposed to be split in half, half from the new york view, half from lexies view, i took out lexies view for multiple reasons.

one, to add more mystery.

two, i felt it was too dark, i felt it would be a bit too painful to read.

that's why lexie doesn't talk much about her time in captivity because it's so incredibly dark and unfathomable i didn't want to subject anyone to it;

HOWEVER

i still have the written chapters of a heart to heart miles and lexie have where she fully in depth talks about what she went through that i will be releasing in that one shot book, its cannon. just redacted, i remember writing that they have a heart to heart in book three but it was dialed back and vague.

number four;
remaster????

i've mentioned this before, and i'm getting super close to finally pulling the trigger and doing it, but i want to completely revamp books one two and three, even parts of book four.

the only thing holding me back is i have to reread the books, and i can't bring myself to do it.

once i remaster it the writing will change, im a muchhhh different writer than what i used to be and also some plot points would change — things would be changed around and taken out.

i would fully rewrite the chapters of all the books before i did it, i wouldn't keep them unpublished because they would be unpublished for so god damn long if i had to sift through everything.

i would crack the size of three probably in half, i would merge more of the chapters so it wouldn't be 60 anymore, probably around 40?

pls pls share thoughts and opinions bc i love interacting with u guys.

also this lil space right here is ur space to drop hot takes or thoughts about the characters, theories, etc. comment whatever about the book right here and ill respond!!!
