*Miranda's POV*
All I heard was the doctor say I gained 60 pounds, then I heard my mom say how unhealthy that was. Then, I fainted. All the effort I've put in. And I gained 60 llbs? I cant believe this. I left the doctors office without having paid attention to whatever it was they were talking about. All this means is that I have to work harder to reach my goal. Even if it isn't going to be achieved by the time I go back to school. I go home and run to my room and stay there thinking for the next.few hours. My stomach rumbled. But I ignored it. No way , I thought, No .. Way.
*RYAN'S POV*
There was a knock and I ran to my door to see Tanya in tears. I told her to come inside she was panting, like shed just ran a marathon while she was crying.
"What's wrong, why are you so tired? Are you okay?" I said
"I GAINED 60 FREAKING POUNDS RYAN!" Mirandaa yelled
"Miranda, there is no way that's possible you look skinnier then ever why are u so worked up? You look great and you have from the start!" I said before I realized what I had just said.

Silence.

"Ryan.." Mirandaa whispered
"What is it?" I asked wondering if she really heard what I'd just said.
"I hate myself."

Silence.

I wanted to explode and give her my full support but then Id blow everything. I didn't want to hurt our friendship.
"Well.. you shouldn't.. Because .. Your a really good person.."

Silence.

"I don't see it anymore Ryan." She said, still whispering

I finally processed the situation, And I realized that I had never seen her cry. I had never had to comfort or protect her, the way she had done for me so many times before, even when she didn't have to.
"Big strong Miranda, can break down too." I thought to myself
I realized I was so caught in my thoughts that I didn't respond.
"Well, its there, believe me." I said and then I gave her a hug.
A really long hug.
And when we finally parted I looked at her, upset, red-faced from all the tears. And I still, makeup running and all saw the beauty that I admired so much. It was still there. It was still Miranda.
"I have to go Ryan." She said covering her face
"I'll message you later." I said
" Thank you, Ryan, for being there." She said standing up .
I stood up and looked her in the eyes and said--
"I wouldn't want it any other way."
She smiled faintly and gave me another hug.
Another long hug.
"Goodbye Ryan." She said
"Goodbye Miranda."
And with that she walked out of the door.
