*RYAN'S POV*
I couldn't sleep that night, I sat in my room looking at pictures of us and realized that there is no possible way that she gained 60 llbs over the summer. I got really worried. I realized that maybe I was right to be worried about her weight loss. Oddly I don't understand how she thinks she has gained 60 pounds.
The next morning Miranda texted me to ask if I could go to the mall with her but I told her I was busy. And she said that she would go with Brad instead.
Finally she was out of the house I got dressed and I ran outside. The next thing I knew I was walking to Miranda's house with nothing to do but let my thoughts run wild. I imagined the oddest and most horrific scenarios my brain could come up with and each one made me walk faster, because as they got worse, I got more worried. Then, I finally reached her doorstep and prayed that she had already left.
I was greeted by Ms. Sanchez at the door.
"Hello Ryan, I think you just missed Miranda she left for the mall with Brad."
"Oh, I know I came to talk to u about Miranda."I said
"Oh! Well, come on inside." She said with a smile
"So what is it you wanted to ask me?"Ms. Sanchez said once we sat down
"Miranda came to my house yesterday, in tears. I asked her what was wrong and she said she gained 60 pounds. But I realized that there is NO way that's possible. She looks skinnier then ever!" I said relieved that I was finally clearing my thoughts to someone
"What? No. She said that the doctor told her that she gained 60 llbs.?"
"Yeah she was in tears, she said she had worked so hard to lose weight."
"Ryan, the doctor said that she LOST 60 pounds, and I said right afterwards that that was unhealthy, loosing so much weight."
"Why was Miranda telling me she gained 60 llbs then?"
"I.. Don't.. Know, Ryan.."
"She told me she fainted and then afterwards she was dazed and heard nothing else that the doctor said."
"She fainted. And then she woke back up and she just sat there staring into space for the rest of the doctor visit."
"What's going on Ms. Sanchez?"
"I don't know Ryan, But we need to get to the bottom of this."Ms. Sanchez said
"Ms. Sanchez.. You don't think Miranda has an.. a.. You know one of those..um.. Eating disorders do you?
"That's what has me worried, Ryan."
"Thank you for coming and talking to me, I'll contact you on how we should approach Miranda."
"No problem, she really has me worried."
"Me too."
"Goodbye Ms. Sanchez."
"Goodbye Ryan."
