"Where were you...? " A doubtful voice echoed through the quiet room.

"Oh!.. Sister in law.... I was out with taehyung... " Jungkook answered while sitting up from his study table.

"What were you doing with him? " This time the questions was asked a little harshly.

Jungkook felt a sudden nervousness crawling up to his skin.. "J-just accompanied him to places... " He stuttered a little.

"What places ha? Are you doing something unacceptable behind our back..? " She spat harshly furrowing her brows.

"No!... It's not like that... I.. "

"Maya!!.. What are you doing in jungkook's room? " A sudden voice started them both from behind, it was kai.

"Oh..." Said nervously.

"I just came to check on him, earlier he had a fever that's why... " She smiled at kai assuringly.

"Umm.... Come with me Maya... I need your help in something.. And jungkook take some rest no need to work hard when you are sick...... Ok... I am leaving then.. "

Jungkook noded slightly. After they left he closed his room door and hopped on the bed in this intension that he needs to get some good sleep, he isn't sick and even if he is it's doesn't matter.

He is happy today like real happy.when they returned home by walking through the streets along with some little chit chat with the latter it felt so calming, so lively to him... It's something he never experienced before.

While thinking those happy moments he spent with taehyung he managed to fall asleep quickly.... This time a peaceful one.

" we are throwing a party tomorrow for joon's birthday... "Mr.Jeon announced.

"Dad.. You don't have to do this much.. It's just my birthday... " Namjoon reasoned out feeling a little shy.

"No... I am not hearing anything else from anyone.. Moreover it will be an good opportunity to expand our business connections.. "

"Okay dad.. As you say... " Namjoon smiled in assurance.

"Jungkook... "Mr Jeon called him immediately.

"Yes father... " Jungkook immediately shifted his all attention to his father because all the time he was standing in the corner silently.

"Invite everyone mentioned in the list..... And hear it carefully.... I won't tolerate any further mistake from you... " His father ordered in rage handing over a piece of paper.

"I will... I will father... I am doing it right away...don't worry " Jungkook answered immediately.

"Hmm.... Don't play you stupidity here.. "

Jungkook nodded immediately.

And the grand party is arranged in their mansion. Taehyung was super busy doing his assigned work along with serving snacks to the guest which is basically an easy work according to him. Another bonus point is that he can earn a little bit more money so he is all ready with a charming smile.

The party hall got busy with guests. Their attires are screaming rich. Some elegant lady enjoying their drinks while looking extremely beautiful. Taehyung was in awe... He was looking everywhere with whipped expression because in his whole life he never saw such gathering it's a really a fascinating site for him.

"While serving snacks he secretly checking out their clothes and designe... He wishes to make his dream fullfill and make clothes like that.

Few minutes have passed. Mr. Jeon get down from the stairs with a wide smile on his face followed by his two sons Namjoon and kai.

Taehyung confusedly look at their way because jungkook wasn't with them.. "Where is he ?.. Shouldn't he come along with them? " Taehyung mumbled to himself.

Soon everyone's attention shifts to the place where Mr. Jeon started to spoke.

"Ladies and gentlemen.. Welcome to our grand party.... I hope you are comfortable... " Mr. Jeon asked politely earning a happy nod from everyone.

"As as you know by the invitations that my elser son's birthday is today and I  gonna celebrate it to the fullest as a father I am proud of my capable and dutiful son who grows our business to the highest level with my other son Jeon kai..... I am really proud of them. "

Mr Jeon looked both side where his sons are standing, he smiled proudly at them.

At the same moment Jungkook was standing there as always in a corner with red glistening eyes looking at the stage in agony.

Taehyung was quick to spot jungkook and he is well awar what jungkook is going through. Sometimes he just wanted to punch that old man.

Taehyung gritted his teeth but quickly controlled himself and made his way towards the raven.

"Hyung... " Taehyung called him softly.

"Yah... Taehyung" Jungkook turned towards him with a smile but taehyung knows this smile isn't like he saw before, this smile isn't even reaching his eyes he knows perfectly well that when he genuinely smiles his eyes smile before his lips.

"Take this chicken wings hyung.. It's soo tastey?.... Let me tell you are secret.. " Taehyung whispered drawing jungkook's complete attempt to him, diverting his mind from the stage as he can't see the elder being hurt anymore.

"You know.. I myself finished whole two plates secretly.... " Taehyung whispered.

Jungkook grinned along with taehyung.

"Taste it....tastes it.. " Taehyung forwarded the trey in his hand.

Jungkook hesitantly put one in his mouth and quickly hummed in its taste.. "It really good... "

"I told you na!..... Look.. Because the queen himself marinated the whole thing... " Taehyung announced proudly with his hands upwards,standing in a queen posture.

Jungkook chuckled.

Taehyung quickly put his hand down when he noticed few people are looking at him weirdly.

"You cooked this? " Jungkook asked.

"Nah! The shef did... But I was the one who told him the recipe though... " Taehyung flexed though it was a total lie.

"You did.. ? " Jungkook asked in shock because he really believed it.

Taehyung smiled internally because the person before him has a child's heart.. He thinks everyone is like him soft hearted who believes people.

"No.. No... How can I overpower a shef he is far more better than me in cooking I just marinated those according to his instructions... " Taehyung explained for which jungkook nodded in understanding.

Suddenly taehyung was called by someone and unfortunately he have to leave from there but he was relief with the fact that their boring speech is over and they are right now talking with some business partners.

"See you later hyung... Bye... "

"Bye.. " Jungkook smiled.

After a while jungkook was called by Namjoon and he introduce Jungkook as his brother in front of a businessman. Jungkook was too happy at that moment.

Namjoon and kai danced with their wives along with many couples. Overall the party went well .
