ᴘᴏʟᴀʀ ᴏᴘᴘᴏꜱɪᴛᴇꜱ (Jujutsu Kaisen)

At work

Makima went back to work at the firm today. She wakes up so early in the morning that literally everyone is still asleep.

She puts on a long, black trench coat on top of her white sleeved shirt as her work clothes. She wears black slacks to go along with it.

She (reluctantly) trusts Gojo Satoru to take care of the students on his own for a while. (she texted him at night btw)

Can't be that hard right?

Miss Control devil: Can you take care of the trio for a while? I'm gonna check how things are going at the firm.

White haired moron: Sure babe! You can leave it all to me😏

Miss Control devil: I wouldn't have left them to you if I'd known they'd call me at work. Don't do anything stupid. Or else.

White haired moron: Yes ma'am! Wake me up when you're ready to go!

Miss Control devil: That depends.

White haired moron: Huh?? Wha-

Miss Control devil went offline.

"Bruh." he says out loud

she doesn't really know but sighs while thinking about it

She locks her suite and quietly leaves the building.

(yes yes I know what you're thinking: where tf is satoru??!!)

(well he ain't here yet he catching z's, still dreaming on the other floor of the building)

anyways...

She quickly reaches her workplace and goes to the company cafe to get an espresso as she fancies bitter drinks.

(it's fall btw. yk? leaves orange and falling?)

She presses the elevator buttons to the 28th floor and walks down the hallway

(Yes the building is a skyscraper. She's in charge of the whole building.)

While walking, she comes across some employees who go up to her to greet her. She sees Ayame. Ayame has the same hardworking demeanor as her. Waking up incredibly early on certain days to finish tasks faster.

"Okaeri, Makima-sama."
"Welcome back, Lady Makima." she greets

"Good to be back, Ayame. How have you been holding up the firm lately?" she asks

"All is well, Ma'am. The shareholders meeting has been cancelled yesterday due to the lack of staff members present." Ayame replies

"Ah. I see." she says

As they walk, Ayame reports everything that has happened the whole time she was gone.

"I trust you handled comms well?" Makima asked

"Yes Ma'am. I have also been improving my cursed technique during the my free time when you were absent." says Ayame

"Good. I have been absent for a reason. Events led to events which caused me to take up a teaching position at the Tokyo Prefectural  Jujutsu High School." she says

"Not to worry. I won't be leaving the company any time soon. Report to me again later." she adds

Ayame bows down, a sign of respect to her higher up, as she bids goodbye to Makima because she said she needed to go back to her work.
