18. Amusement Park

Inaya's POV

I woke up and checked my phone again the first thing in the morning. But there was still no message from him, which did nothing to make me feel better.

It was weekend today means no university so i couldn't even see him in person. I was getting more and more upset and anxious as time passed by.

I was in my room watching kdramas trying to light up my mood but it was of no use. Then suddenly alizeh barged into my room looking all excited. I sighed, at least someone's happy.

"Oye.. why didn't you get ready?" she asked and i frowned at her. "Ready for what?"

"You forgot!? We are going to the amusement park today" i was so lost in his thoughts that i forgot about our plan.

I was in no mood to go anywhere right now. And everyone will be coming means him too and I'm not sure how I'll react after seeing him.

"Alizeh yar i'm in no mood you all can go" i tried to convince her but her being the stubborn she is, kept pestering me.

"There's no way we'll go without you. Now get up yourself before i force you" she threatened and i knew that she will never leave me alone so i went towards my wardrobe with a huge sigh.

After getting ready, we went downstairs and bhai was waiting for us in the car.

We reached after some time and alizeh and me were walking inside while bhai parked the car. Suddenly alizeh stopped and looked at me all serious. "What?"

"Why do you look all sad huh what's wrong?" she folded her arms.

"No there's nothing wrong" i tried to assure her.

"Are you sure? Do i need to beat someone's ass?" i laughed even though her expressions were very serious and she could actually do it.

"Haan meri maa"

"Ok but remember i have my eyes on you" i shook my head at her and we walked ahead again.

Eman embraced us in a tight hug as soon as she spotted us. Besides her was rayan, in his white t-shirt and blue jeans looking as handsome as ever in that simple outfit.

Our eyes met, his expression seemed guilty but i looked away as i was still upset with him.

Just then riya, ishaan and adnan also joined us. Although rayan and eman's faces clearly told that they weren't very pleasant to see adnan, but thank god they kept quiet and didn't start a fight.

We all first went to the gift shop to get some headbands and other cute stuff.

I was roaming around the shop looking for something cute when rayan walked towards to me.

"Sweetheart-" he started but i left from there. Like he ignored me for a whole day. Let him get a taste of his own medicine.

Rayan kept trying to talk to me and i kept ignoring him.

"Sweetheart i'm really sorry" he said so that only i could hear him.

"Please na sorry" he gave me the puppy eyes and i almost fell for them. But before that I left him alone again and joined the girls.

"Let's first go to the horror house!" eman exclaimed all excited.

"Are you sure you won't run out screaming like a scaredy cat" adnan teased her to which she gave him a death glare.

While everyone else went inside the horror house i waited for them outside. Why? Because i am a scaredy cat. I hate these horror things. I remember the last time i watched horror movie with them, i got nightmares for two whole days. So yeah no i would never join them.

I was sitting in a bench waiting for them to come back when suddenly a kid came towards me and gave me a flower.

"Hey buddy, why are you giving me this?" i asked as i took the flower from him with a smile. It was a tulip, my favourite.

That little kid didn't say anything but pointed towards someone behind me. I looked in thst direction but no one was there. Just when i turned back, a bouquet of tulips was infront of me. I realised that kid was gone and instead of him rayan was there holding the bouquet with a nervous smile.

I took the bouquet from him and bit my lips to hide the smile. I don't know why but i wanted to tease him some more. So i acted like i was still angry with him and turned my face towards another side. I heard him sigh as he sat besides me.

"Abhi bhi naraz ho?" he said in a low voice. I didn't reply to him. "Sorry na sweetheart please man jao" now i was starting to feel bad. I think he apologised enough times now.

I was about to answer but he stood up infront of me and held his ears by both his hands. "Please i'm really sorry" he kept repeating while holding his ears. I heard the whispers and giggles of people around me. I was so stunned by his action that i wasn't able to voice my words.

"Should i beg on my knees too?" and he was actually about to but i stood up and stopped him. "Rayan what are you doing" "Asking for forgiveness" he blinked his eyes innocently.

I laughed "ok ok i forgive you." His lips curled up into a huge smile showing his dimples as he confirmed "Really!?" "Yes yes i was just teasing you" i laughed and shook my head. And the rest of the time he wouldn't stop grinning.

Rayan's POV

"So you're really not upset with me now?" i asked for umpteenth time. "Rayan if you ask one more time i'll never talk to you again" she replied getting irritated. "Ok ok sorry" i grinned and she shook her head.

I was so scared when i thought she won't forgive me. Well i deserved her anger. I acted like a jerk back then just because of my stupid jealousy. I was still angry even when she told thst he was just her partner for assignment. I'm always calm and composed but that day i lost it. But what can i do my sweetheart makes me loose my mind.

We were now deciding on which ride to go. We stopped before the roller coaster but no one was ready to go. But i looked at inaya and she had that excitement in her eyes. Clearly she wanted to go on that ride but kept quiet since no one was ready.

I thought for a while before saying "i want to go in that roller coaster" Everyone looked at me specially eman. She had that disbelief look in her eyes but i shook my head at her. Then she looked at inaya who now was fully excited. She understood and smirked looking at me.

Inaya and me went on roller coaster while others went for other rides. I started getting nervous as we got settled and tightened my hold on the seat belt. Inaya must've noticed as she asked "Hey you ok?"

"Yeah just a little nervous"

"Why?"

"Uhm a little scared of heights"

"Then why did you-" she didn't get to complete her sentence as the ride started and i closed my eyes. My heart was beating rapidly but it calmed down a little when i felt inaya holding my hand. Her gentle but firm hold affirmed me and i looked at her. She was smiling and enjoying alot which made me smile too. The wind caused her hair to cover her face but she didn't care about them as she was freely enjoying.

After the ride we got out inaya's face was lightened up with joy and excitement. "That was so amazing!" she exclaimed and i admired her smiling like a fool.

"Inaya.." i murmured slowly as i was deciding if i should say it or not. But i got my answer as soon as she looked at me with beautiful doe eyes which had a sparkle in them today. My heart filled with so much affection and i knew that i can't wait anymore.. so i said it.

"I like you... alot!"
